"Sunrise" has 5 spins on CHR-Pop WSTW and Mediabase says 2004. I look on Hot AC and it has 19 spins on KRSK, 2 spins on KFMB, 2 spins on KFME, and is possibly on other stations. As if Norah Jones and Simply Red having that title isn't enough.

It's from the soundtrack of "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy". The mix that is onthe soundtrack is the Jason Nivens remix which may be the one that they are playing on the radio.

This song is horrible. I'll move this to Hot AC, where it's going for adds.

In one AT20 show Casey played on extra f Duran Duran (Hungry Like The Wolf) and said that they would possibly get back together again after they had gone on a reunion tour.

This record is too European sounding for our mainstream radio market. It definately belongs in the dance clubs or even dance radio. If this is an attempt to return to fame or what have you this isn't right, at least not here in the United States.

Please! This song was intended for Icelandic airwaves, if there is a demand for it in the US can they help it?

Haha... I love how every time they release a new song, people keep on talking about how Duran Duran is trying to make a "comeback" even though they never really went away.
Ever since "Ordinary World," they've had a single every 2 or 3 years even though none have been big hits (the closest they came was with "Electric Barbarella:"
1995 - White Lines (from Thank You) 1997 - Out of My Mind & Electric Barbarella (from Medazzaland) 2000 - Someone Else Not Me (from Pop Trash... but this time I say they tried too hard to re-create Ordinary World)

You know, you can say what you want but, the point is I strongly believe that they (radio) wasting their time promoting this song. You tell how many people or say listerners are actually going to request this song on their public airwaves?

I don't know if it was a national hit or it was just big around Philadelphia. That was before I got access to R&R.

I haven't even heard the song, I was beating all those that get mad when we focus on the US to the punch is all.

I heard "White Lines" a lot on Alternative stations in 1995. I don't know if it was a national hit or it was just big around Philadelphia. That was before I got access to R&R. Hits 106 (central NE pop station) played it (and "Out of My Mind" and "Electric Barbarella," but not "Someone Else Not Me.") I heard "Sunrise" on Star yesterday... even though they were one of the stations listed as playing it I didn't expect it. It doesn't sound too bad, but it's nothing special... it's kind of like an almost-par rehash of some of their more upbeat stuff.
