"Thrown Down" has been selected as the third release from Fleetwood Mac's "Say You Will" LP.
Nothing groundbreaking, but pleasant enough, this track is a laid back, midtempo Stevie Nicks song that should make her fans and Fleetwood Mac fans happy. How well have the first two singles ("Peacekeeper" and "Say you Will") done at Hot AC? "Thrown Down" seems to be more AC friendly that the first two releases.

Fleetwood Mac has two songs going currently going for adds at AAA. As mentioned above, "Thrown Down" is a Stevie Nicks song. "Steal Your Heart Away" is a Lindsey Buckingham track.
I wonder which will be the bigger hit.

I love Fleetwood Mac and think both of these songs are great, but I doubt either one will crack the Hot AC or AAA charts. It's just been too long of a gap since "Say You Will" was released and I'm not sure that Fleetwood Mac is going to get any more attention with singles from this album. I hope they prove me wrong though.

Thrown Down is their best original song in about 20 years. I cant see why they are being ignored. This song should have been the first single because its way better musically and has a better chorus than Peacekeeper. Stea Your Heart Away is also a good song but not as good as Thrown Down. I cant believe how radio is rejecting them. I think not having videos for the first two songs hurt. Too bad they didnt shoot one for Thrown Down and really push it. This song deserves it. Stevie gives a great vocal performance reminsicent of Gypsy.
