Anyone else a bit suprised that the White Stripes are not successfully following the lead of Coldplay as alternative crossing-over artists and making Top 20 presences on Triple A, despite a number of their songs being circulated on a few select AAA stations?
Much of the material off of "Elephant" I feel would work on AAA if promoted, with much rock and blues-inspired numbers. Releasing "I Want To Be The Boy" for instance I feel can push them into the format.
What do the rest of you think, and perhaps of other Alternative artists that have wrnt for Adds here recently (a.k.a Jet)
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Didn't We're Going To Be Friends hit on Triple-A? Not sure how high it got but I'm pretty sure it appeared on that chart.

I don't think WGTBF hit the chart. It got decent play on a few of the stations, though.
I think the White Stripes have a light enough sound that they could hit the AAA chart if they so desired... plus unlike the Strokes, their voices aren't completely muffled.
Jet sounds like it has a dash of old school rock. I don't think that it'll get into the Top 30, but I think it can make N&A.
