I wish "Inconsoloble" got more airplay. Really? I gotta tell you, I think it sounds dated already. I know the "dated" part only harkens back to when BSB were big, but it sounds SO boy band, and it seems like something that really doesn't belong on the radio today. I'm actually surprised it's getting as much radio play as it is.

Gotta disagree with the boy band thing - don't think this sounded any more "boy bandish" or outdated than relatively recent CHR hits by Jesse McCartney or Ryan Cabrera I think the biggest prob. with this song was the title (a majority of Americans don't even know the meaning of the word), and I think it was hurt by the fact that their last hit was called "Incomplete" and the fact that this hit came right after "Irreplaceable" and "Undeniable" - CHR really doesn't like repetition (unless it's on the same CD like Nickelback IMO) Still think if they "tweaked" the chorus a little (and found a better title) this could've been a big hit

The Backstreet Boys' song is just another ballad amongst ballads, that really are indiscernable from what they put out in their hey-day. That's my opinion anyway. To me, that sound with 4 guys doing the vocals, is very dated. 98 degrees, BSB, NSYNC etc late 90's to 2000 or so. To me, a band like the BSB would have to do something pretty different to have a huge hit again. And, quite frankly, I just don't see this type of music making a big splash in the forseeable future.
