[blue] 08/05/07 [/blue] #1: "Home" spends a tenth week at #1. This now tops "It's Not Over" for Daughtry's biggest hit. Oldest Song: "U + Ur Hand" with 37 weeks on. Oldest Song below #15: "Face Down" with 18 weeks. Possibly Going to Recurrent: "Say It Right" when the song falls below #15. Going to Recurrent: None next week. Biggest Mover: "Dreaming with a Broken Heart" and "Bubbly" tie for the biggest mover by moving up 10 spots each to numbers 26 and 27 respectively. Debuts: A whopping 5 debuts this week: "1973" enters at #35 and gives James Blunt his fourth hit. The current #1 on the Hot 100 debuts on HAC this week. "Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston debuts at #36. Newcomers The Last Goodnight come in at #37 with "Pictures of You" "Wake Up Call" gives Maroon 5 two songs on this week's chart. The song enters at #38 and is the group's 6th hit. Daughtry has one song leave and one song enter the chart this week: "Over You" debuts at #40. Exiting the Survey: "Before He Cheats", 32 weeks, to recurrent "It's Not Over", 35 weeks, to recurrent "Little Wonders", 26 weeks, to recurrent "Undeniable", 20 weeks, to recurrent "Beautiful Disaster", 12 weeks Other Notes: With 4 songs going to recurrent this week, a lot of songs move up several places due to the "vacuum effect". The top 5 remain the same as last week. Matchbox Twenty zoom up 7 spots to #11. "Thnks fr th Mmrs" jumps 6 to #17 and becomes Fall Out Boy's 2nd biggest hit. Linkin Park also get their 2nd biggest hit as "What I've Done" jumps to #19. The big moves in the top 20 along with 3 new songs (and 1 re-entry) to the top 20 should make for an interesting AT20 on 8/18. Thanks to the vacuum effect, "Summer Love" rebounds to its peak of #25. Ouch! of the Week: Even with the vaccum effect, "Extraordinary" still falls 7 notches to #39. Song with the biggest spin increase: "How Far We've Come" (over a 500 spin increase). Song with the biggest spin loss: "Extraordinary" (nearly a 200 spin loss). Top 50 Hot AC chart can be found at: www.americasmusiccharts.com/index.cgi?fmt=A2 All chart data (C) Mediabase 24/7

Is that a record?
"After jumping 4 to make the top 20 last week, Emerson Hart falls back 4 to #19."
Didn't you mean #23? :)

It's been fixed. :) I believe Blue October does set the record for the longest time between re-entries for a song. The previous holder was Bruce Springsteen, whose "Secret Garden" took about 2 years to re-enter.

Why did "Face Down" go to recurrent-land? It was like +55 or something on Saturday!

Wow... good on Fergie! I can't even remember the last time a woman had the #1 song on this chart. When was it? "Behind These Hazel Eyes"?

If a female is gonna go #1 on Hot AC, I'd prefer it to be Avril Lavigne or Kelly Clarkson.
