Another great week of past hits on AT20! All of them from the '80s were among my favorites. I'm glad that the songs played by Barenaked Ladies and matchbox twenty were on the show this weekend. And a very interesting choice on the LDD with Ugly Kid Joe's verison of "Cat's in the Cradle". That's one you definitely do not hear much of on the radio anymore. Overall, it was a great show of music this weekend on AT20.

My guess is they played the Ugly Kid Joe version because they felt the Harry Chapin original was too old for Hot AC playlists. I'll bet the original was on AT10.
Also, according to yes.com, WMEE in Fort Wayne played the correct show. They had played the March 24/25 show for the past three weeks. WKDD in Akron has done the exact same thing with Rick Dees Hot AC. Lets see if they get it right tonight.

You guessed right, RadioBrett! The original "Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin was played as the LDD on AT10 this weekend. I was thinking the same thing myself before I heard it on AT10 last night.

"Never Say Goodbye" by Bon Jovi was a pleasant surprise! I can't even remember the last time Casey played that one.

They were both optional extras, so your affiliate must cut those segments.
