Is it sad that despite having the album, I still haven't heard this song once yet? It's sad that other than being featured as a breakout on the AT40, it's not even on the chart yet.

With "So What" and "Let Me Be Myself" going recurrent, this should be #19 or #20 by Sunday night's update.

Largest bullet yet
25 21 NATASHA BEDINGFIELD Soulmate 885 723 162 4.157
It's on 128 spins on Pop but it hasn't even been sent for a pop adds date yet has it?

Largest bullet yet 25 21 NATASHA BEDINGFIELD Soulmate 885 723 162 4.157 It's on 128 spins on Pop but it hasn't even been sent for a pop adds date yet has it? Nope. It's close to reaching the Top 100 on Pop however, so if it starts moving up, we could finally see an adds date in that format. I think that both this song and "Broken Strings" should be sent for adds on Pop pretty soon.

It's featured on the AT40 again this weekend as a breakout/extra. Technically, it's an extra since it's being played for the third time in four weeks (last week it was left off, two weeks ago was an extra, three weeks ago was a breakout).
This can only mean that it will finally enter the chart next week at a fairly high position.

The success of this song on HAC is finally having an effect on its pop performance. On quickcut Soulmate has 131 spins (Obviously higher than the real number) and a bullet of +50.

Hopefully that will be enough to move this song up to the 51-100 range in Pop following tomorrow's updates.

Could this actually be top ten bound on HAC?
I'd love it if this was a real slow-burning cross-format hit, but it seems too late in the album campaign for that to be particularly likely.

Could this actually be top ten bound on HAC? I'd love it if this was a real slow-burning cross-format hit, but it seems too late in the album campaign for that to be particularly likely. It could reach Top 10 in the next few weeks - it should be top 20 by tomorrow. Look at Plain White T's ("1,2,3,4"). It took a while for that song to finally take off but it did on Hot AC and now it's Top 10. Pop is only starting to send it for adds now, but it's close to reaching Top 50 there. So I suppose the same will happen with "Soulmate" provided it finally makes the top 100 on Pop and continues moving up.

Also, would someone mind telling me the rules of recurrents on HAC? I know on pop its once you fall below the top 20 after 20 weeks in the top 40 you go recurrent, but I've been confused about HAC.

On HAC, songs that fall below the top 15 after 20 weeks, or songs that fall below the top 10 after 52 weeks are removed to recurrent. Pink's "So What" should be removed this afternoon, which will move "Soulmate" up to #19. Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" has already surpassed 52 weeks and will be removed to recurrent status as soon as it drops below the top 10, perhaps as early as next week. Hope that helps! :)

3 Doors Down ("Let Me Be Myself") might also be moved to recurrent status along with Pink, so that will move "Soulmate" to #18.
It's amazing to see this song do so well on Hot AC in the U.S. - I'm hoping this will be enough for a resurgence on Hot AC in Canada.

I did not realize "Let Me Be Myself" was on way over 20 weeks! That song hardly got any airplay in Chicago outside of a Lake County Hot AC station, so I did not realize it was on the charts for so long. And this is great for the Veronicas! They will hit the top 20 this week with "Untouched".

Awesome Who would've thought, this currently has the 2nd largest bullet in the top 40 :o Does anyone know which songs are eligible to go recurrent next week other than "I'm Yours"?

If they fall below #15: "Shattered", "What about Now". "Rock & Roll" and "Not Meant to Be" have hit 20 weeks, but they'll likely be left on as they seem to be still on the rise.

"Not Meant to Be" has been on for already 20 weeks? Wow, who knew? Is this the highest peaking single for Theory of a Deadman on Hot AC so far?
But seriously, much props to "Soulmate" for doing well on Hot AC. I don't know why, but it bothers me that it's not receiving this same impact in Canada, at least in the same format. At the very least, my station continues to spin it in limited rotation - evenings, overnights, and weekends.
BTW, this probably is her last single for the "Pocketful of Sunshine" era as I've read somewhere that she's started writing material for her next album.

Awesome, thanks for the info! So I'd say there's a chance What About Now and Shatered could go recurrent this week, as well as I'm Yours, although this all depends on how much the songs below it gain, and how fast they fall.

This song has to be a hit. It was huge here in Europe and it's one of her definite best.

Slowly but surely, it's starting to move up on Pop, even without an adds date.

"Not Meant to Be" only hit 19 weeks on the 3/22 chart. Sorry for the mistake. Yes this is Theory of a Deadman's biggest HAC hit. Sorry for hijacking the thread. :)
Getting back on topic, this song looks healthy and may have a chance at top 10.
