Awesome. I think this will be a huge comeback hit. I hope you're right, but I also felt the same way with "Better Now", "Hollywood" and "Staring Down". I think they're relegated to Hot AC/AAA these days, which, given that's the name of this forum, I suppose is appropriate...

Better Now was somewhat of a comeback hit.

I love this song, but I have started couching my expectations for them. Sad, really, because it seems like some of the best music is almost ignored.

I wholeheartedly believe Collective Soul has the best chance of mainstream success out of most of its colleagues.

Which colleagues are you referring to? i agree, they are core at the torch! i am guessing excluding matchbox, vickelback, goo goo dolls and train, collective soul have the best chance to be in that league of core hot ac artist more than other acts of the mid 90s like soul asylum, hootie, pearl jam,gin blossims, live, spin doctors, third eye blind.... "YOU" is a smash!!!!

I think it already peaked. It's a shame given how much I want Collective Soul to succeed.

I love the new Collective Soul album - and let me tell you, these guys can still bring an impressive rock show. Never seen so much energy onstage as Ed has! I hope this song does well!

Heard this one again today. This is long gone, but I think they will be back in a couple of years. This major label return did decent.
The reason Collective Soul still succeeds is because of Ed's songwriting. When you listen to a Collective Soul album, all tracks are filled with hooks a-plenty. For a man to create albums every 2 years or so with such consistency is quite an accomplisment in itself.

"She Does" should have been released
best song for release on the album in my opinion
major disservice to themselves not pushing that song
agree re the point about Ed and his ability, absolute quality songwriter & singer
