It's been awhile since the release of Guitar Heaven and the 1st single "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" which was primarily a AC hit and vh1 video hit. My question however is...What is gonna be the big single to Hot AC/POP? Has anyone heard anything? I know on itunes i heard "Sunshine of your love" w Rob Thomas was the highest ranked of the new songs and on wikapedia it lists "Photograph" w Daughtry after "WMGGW" like it could be 2nd. I have also heard "Dance The night Away" w Pat Monahan from Train was rumoured to be 2nd. just curious if anyone has heard anything more on it?

There was a Billboard article a week or two ago that mentioned "Photograph" going to radio (I assume Hot AC), but it didn't say when, so possibly after the holidays are over?

Nevermind what I just posted - apparently "Photograph" gets a Hot AC release next week, November 1. Can we get a topic name change?

I don't think the Rob Thomas collaboration will get a radio release. Kind of like they've been there and done that before. Plus, (I'm guessing here) that Rob's song will be the US single for the new INXS album. Rob tweeted that he did some phone interviews last week with one of the INXS guys.

Well, that didn't stop a second Santana/Michelle Branch collaboration from being released to radio (although in all fairness, "I'm Feeling You" should have been called "The Game Of Love: The Uninspired Version"). But just remember how big "Smooth" was, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Rob Thomas cut does in fact get airplay. Just think, Carlos Santana could very well be the first artist (I believe) to chart in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's and 10's!

The two Hot AC stations here play Chad's version of "Why Don't You and I" and "Into the Night"

For a sec I thought you were saying that Kroeger has been charting since the 1960's, which would be impressive considering he was born in 1974!

unless Cher puts out a hit first I can't imagine there are too many others. lol probably not, Santana has stood the test of time, very smart and one of the best guitars players ever :)

I love this cover of "Photograph." I wish it well, but I don't think it'll do much better than Top 25 at best.

I don't like this at all. I don't think it can compare to the original.
