Adele's grip at the top spot remains tight while Lady Antebellum must settle for a 3rd week at #2. OneRepublic scores their biggest AC ever as "Good Life" passes "Apologize"'s #4 peak and moves up to #3.
Kelly Clarkson has a nice 11-7 jump into the top 10. This is Kelly's 6th top 10 hit. Her most recent appearance "Don't You Wanna Stay" went back to recurrentland this week after peaking at #3. Kelly has also peaked at #3 with "Already Gone" and "Because Of You."
There are 2 new entries in the top 20. At #18 is Bruno Mars with his offering from the "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack. "It Will Rain leaps 23-18 this week with the biggest move. Bruno is now 4 for 4 when it comes to top 20 hits. His last top 20 was "The Lazy Song" peaking at #13 back in October.
Also jumping in moving 22-20 is French DJ David Guetta with his first AC hit "Without You." Usher, who features on the song, is in the top 20 for the second time. "DJ Got us Fallin' In Love" peaked at #19 back in June.
Christina Perri has the lone debut this week at #29 with "A Thousand Years." The song is the 2nd on this week's chart to come from the "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack. Now time to search the archives, when was the last time 2 songs from the same soundtrack charted together? I'll see what I can find as well. Anyway, this is Christina's 3rd AC hit. "Arms" peaked at #29 back in September.
With "Don't You Wanna Stay" going recurrent for the 2nd and final time, new peaks result for Seal, Daughtry & Gloria Estefan.
