Show Dog is now just an inprint with its own staff funded by Toby Keith. When they dropped the staff with the restructuring announcement, they dropped the "Universal" from their name. I was waiting to change their name (remove the "Universal" part) until after their website changed, but until recently it still said Show Dog-Universal, and now the website is either offline or gone entirely. Plus, like @smoothdancer said, their Facebook page is gone as well... I wonder what's going on in Show Dog-land..? All that stuff is being handled by Universal's marketing and promo departments. It's quite possible that Show Dog's roster is now just Toby, Krystal Keith and Native Run.

Good news article about the exact set up between Southern Ground/BMLG, Republic/John Varvatos Records. Music RowThat's basically the same story that was issued in December at the iHeart Radio event. Still, it looks like it'll be a BMLG "label" in addition to Republic and John Varvatos. So the CD continue the group's tradition of having a gazillion logos on 'em.

Well, really, it just gets his band with a company that can help him get major awards and when they DO -- and they will try -- go for Alternative/Rock or AC/Pop with one or two songs on the next album, they have Republic to work it. Zac Brown is a super smart dude.

Sorry for the double post but Sony Nashville has signed Singer/songwriter Cam (Cam Ochs) to their Arista Nashville roster.

A familiar last name heads the label. How is she related to Scott? I hadn't seen this until now, but a quick search suggests they're siblings!

Cingle Records is a new label that has been launched in Nashville. Their inaugural act is female artist Rainey Qualley. Michael Powers and Matt Corbin's Star Farm Nashville will handle radio promotion while Thirty Tigers will handle distribution of products released on the label. Qualley's debut single will be worked to radio in the first quarter of 2015. Music Row

I found this to be particularly interesting. It was in Thursday's daily Aircheck email. » In The 'Ville Of The Night: Nashville plays host to (l-r) WAMZ/Louisville & WBUL/Lexington's Michael Jordan, Columbia's Bo Martinovich, WUSY/Chattanooga's Gator Harrison and Columbia's David Friedman, who went to an Old Dominion show together.
There's been some talk about Old Dominion securing a deal with a major label. Perhaps this is a hint that they will be joining Sony on the Columbia imprint? I found it rather odd that 2 Columbia promo reps were at an Old Dominion concert. That to me suggests a definite interest (if a deal hasn't already been made) on their part, similar to what we saw last year when some Warner Music Nashville people were "scouting" Ryan Kinder at CMA Fest and also the meetings we heard about between Craig Campbell and BBRMG. Ryan of course wound up signing with WMN and Craig wound up signing with BBR's Red Bow imprint.

Right. it's pretty much a done deal. Just waiting for the right time to announce (likely around the Kenny Chesney show in Nashville).

YESSS now let "Break Up With Him" smash please! Depending on the time of the announcement, I think it won't be re-branded with Columbia (assuming it's them) for at least a few weeks so we might have to wait a bit for it to "smash" if it does. Also assuming they stick with that song; and since that's the one that likely got them this deal and the fact it's done so well at Sirius/XM, they'd be crazy not to. "Break Up With Him" seems to be a song that's leaving an impression on many.

Oh, that song will be their label single, just like they stuck with logan miles song. It's also selling. Sales suggest a sizable hit a la "ready set roll," leave the night on" and "chillin' it."

Wikipedia can be sketchy as all know but they now have Clare Dunn listed under the MCA Nashville imprint. That would actually make the most sense in terms of shear numbers as Capitol has 9, Mercury has 10 and EMI has 5, though I believe Capitol would not like a ton of artists in that particular imprint. If this is true then MCA Nashville has 8 recording artists signed.
I also bring this up because according to Clare's facebook page, she's far along in making her debut album. I'm sure a debut single will hit radio by the summer depending on the timeline of her radio tour this year.

We'll know for sure when she performs at CRS for the label's annual Ryman show (they announced 16 artists but it runs 2 hours so there's going to be a couple more artists). Edited to Add: Corey Smith signs with Sugar Hill Records.

Just at the CRS location and The Annual Broken Bow Label Group signage across the bridgebar crossing Commerce Avenue showcases their roster.
Jason Aldean, Thompson Square, Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant, Jackie Lee, David Fanning, Jordan Rager, Randy Houser, Joe Nichols, Parmalee, Craig Campbell, Lindsay Ell, Brooke Eden and Adam Craig. So Adam Craig (who co-wrote a few hits including Parmalee's last hit) is a new label signee that I don't remember being announced.
I'll post a photo later when I'm on more reliable wifi to upload it. This could also very well mean that both James Wesley and Kristy Lee Cook are no longer BBLG artists.

If both are gone, that wouldn't surprise me; though it would be unfortunate if James has been let go since I really don't see any other major label or viable indie label picking him up. He also could just be taking a long break from sending out any new music too, but I fear the worst.

Reviver Records has signed Lucas Hoge to its roster. This is now the fourth signee since the label was formed (LoCash, Blackjack Billy, Samantha Landrum).
Lucas Hoge's first single with the label will be titled "Power Of Garth" (yes, that is the actual title) and will hit radio this spring.

Looks like there is a new addition to the EMI/UMG roster coming soon. Haven't listened to any of Haley Georgia's music, but I don't think I'm going to like it. I guess I'll have to wait and see, but it sounds like she's far more influenced by the likes of Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Lana Del Ray than anybody country. She's got another Instagram post of herself with Jimmy Rector, who is VP of Promotion for EMI Nashville. The caption reads "This is Jimmy Rector from EMI/Universal who's gonna help me bring my music to cities all over the U.S."
