Obviously this is all opinion-based and everyone's musical taste is different, blah blah blah.
But what are some songs that you consider to be classics/standards that everyone should have on their iPod? Great songs that you think everyone should know and have in their music collection, regardless of the listener's age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc.

I'm going to be serious about this. Off the top of my head, I can think of "Imagine," "Hey Jude," and "American Pie." there's more to come, though. Those are just the obvious ones.

Bad, Slizzard! Bad!
But I definitely agree with "With or Without You" and "Why," but I would also argue "One," "Beautiful Day," "Electrical Storm," and "Sweet Dreams." Also, "Go Your Own Way," "Landslide," "Dreams," and "Walking After Midnight." This is going to be a long list for me. And Slizzard will most likely have none of these songs.

If "One" is by U2, I have that.

Doesn't exist, and not here for people who think I'm obligated to own any one song.

:long denial of my awesome songs: Wait, are you saying you don't have any of those songs, or are you saying they shouldn't be on everyone's iPods? Not only were mine amazing, but also "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "Carry On My Wayward Son" are very deserving. I thought you were a fan of classic rock. ??? Or did I make that up in my insane mind?
