Do you remember the 1977 live version of "Daybreak" by Barry Manilow which was a track from the 1977 "Barry Manilow Live" album? This was heard on the recent AT40: The 70's rebroadcast of the November 12, 1977 AT40 episode.

Yep, my mother wore this 45 out when I was a kid and the studio version on the This One's For You album. Always thought it was a bigger hit before I got my first Joel Whitburn books. As I recall all the Greatest Hits packages and Ultimate Manilow went with the studio version for some reason. The live version has a smidge more energy to it.

I don't think Casey Kasem on AT40 when "Daybreak - Live" was on the charts in late 1977 played the original studio version.
