This was a #1 hit by Kyu Sakamoto in 1963 and A Taste of Honey's version went to #3 in 1981.

This was played on my pop music station (b96 in Chicago) in 1995 but I don't remember hearing it as I wasn't a big fan of ballads/slow songs growing up. It's decent.

Power 106 played this for awhile back in the fall of 1994 according to R&R magazine. I was only 1 years old when this song was popular lol.

i really like all three versions of this though this might be my favorite . there are probably not too many other songs that went top 10 in three different decades by different artists.
