So which acts do you feel would be a great addition to The Great Escape Tour? As much as I want Nick and Tinashe back, it probably ain't happening. Maybe two artists that are more established? I'd pick Jennifer Hudson and Ellie Goulding since they're both on the reissue. I read something about Jeremih and Rita Ora but it didn't seem reliable at all, I don't even remember where I saw that now :s The new acts will prob only be announced around the Summer too right? Around summer, we should expect an announcement. My problem with Jeremih is he's not a great performer and has zero visibility outside of radio. I love Rita Ora, but she hasn't even released an album stateside, she's only known for "Black Widow" and red carpet appearances. Jeremih might have more hits than Nick Jonas and Rita is a bigger name than Tinashe, but those two names won't draw people in. Jennifer Hudson is a household name and Ellie Goulding has two major hits this year. From a business point of view, I say they should get booked.

Yea, they would probably be better but then again it could also be a bit weird to see them all in a tour together considering they have very different fanbases/demos ?

You're right about them having different fanbases. But with concerts and albums, it's casual fans that make up the majority of sales. Your average radio listener and music lover might like the idea of seeing three artists for a reasonable price. Right now with Ellie having two major hits on radio, she has maximum exposure and could pull in some nice sales. Jennifer Hudson seems like a misfit in the company of Iggy and Ellie, but she's well known, and I'm sure the crowd wouldn't mind seeing her perform 6-8 songs (including the two with Iggy).

I can't see J Hud being her opening act. She seems to big. Even though she probably could only sell out small to medium sized theaters. BTW if Iggy couldn't sell many tickets a month ago. What makes promoters think anything will be different if "Trouble" dosen't blow up??

12 nominations for Iggs at the 2015 BBMAs! :kii: Now a performance with Ms Spears would be very very nice (although that seems unlikely cuz of Vegas?)

Recently she has been snubbed at awards (VMA's.Grammys' ) but i think she has a good shot at winning one or two awards because this is based on chart achievement..and no one can deny her with that... i think she shud easily win the rap song category as fancy and black widow are nominated

It'd be nice if she could snatch a BBMA too but gettin all these noms is still a great accomplishment for Iggy especially looking back where she was a year ago ! (and dont be surprised, I'm sure some people will still try to find ways to work around/deny her chart success from the past yr too lol smh)

Congrats to her. I honestly think all the hate she gets is misdirected and ignorant. I hope she wins plenty and comes back with some great material for her next release.

Yeah. That's about all I got from that performance, too. J. Hud tho...FIRE energy and vocals. Is it just me or does this song seem like a studio science experiment, after watching that performance? It seems like J. Hud didn't even want to share the stage with her.

It feels like Jennifer's done more promo appearances/performances with Iggy than she did for her own damn album.

They really have been promoting the song hard. And yet it's not even likely to outpeak Beg for it.

It feels like Jennifer's done more promo appearances/performances with Iggy than she did for her own damn album. that's because she has. She needs to hire Iggy's team because they are promoting the hell out of tht flop song. I'm very pleasantly surprised to see how much Jennifer was out shining Iggy on her own song in that performance though. She has really come into her own as a performer and is much more comfortable on stage.

If Jennifer's label/team had been smart, they would've negotiated some sort of cross-promo with He Ain't Goin' Nowhere.

When's the last time Amethyst toured/promoted in Europe? I know the USA is her home now, but she's had a lot of early support overseas and I hope she's finding a way to keep it balanced.

The last time she toured Europe was in early 2013 opening for Nas (Work had barely been released by then) and she also did a few festivals in the Summer + random shows in UK. In late 2013 she supported Beyoncé for the Australian leg of the Mrs Carter show tour. Since Fancy/the album release I only recall these trips/appearances outside North America: 1) June 21 (UK) performed Fancy at Capital Summertime Ball or w/e with Charli / June 23 (Italy): Calvin Klein fashion show in Milan with Nick Young before going back to LA 2) July 4 (UK): Wireless festival in London / July 6 (UK): Wireless festival in Birmingham 3) Sept 17 (UK): headlined a show at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire (when she teased Beg for It for the first time) / September 18 (UK): visited a few radio stations in London with Rita 4) February 13, 2015 (Dubai): RedFestDX festival Lazy ass. She doesn't want to travel a lot anymore cuz of her home life and only tries to do with it when her bf can go with her or something. A mess

Iggy is working on her second album, the followup to 2014's The New Classic. "I just started working on it at the moment and hopefully you'll love it," she says in the video. "It's going to be super uptempo and fun and I'm working on having really chanty choruses so that I can have a song that's just me." www.at40.com/news-article/iggy-azalea-exclusively-reveals-surprising-hobby/36062Trouble is #5 on iTunes UK atm :o Black Widow is now 3x platinum in the US (and Booty went Gold too ) wish they'd certify TNC Gold already and get Fancy its deserving 6x-perhaps 7x platinum or more-certification plaque after those millions of local streams last year Oh and TNC was released 1 year ago!

I can't @ Trouble getting 2 viral videos while Carly Rae and Scooter can't get one with all their celebrity cameos.
I wish this project had ended on a higher note, but there's still a window for her to see further success if she releases soon enough. Reclassified still bumps.

Happy 1 year anniversary to The New Classic, it's still as fresh as it was a year ago! Celebrating by listen to bops such as 100, Goddess, and F#ck Love. So many smashes just waiting to happen but she had to Reclassify :'(
