Where is Fun.? If selling over 10 million singles and their album going platinum isn't enough..... A large chunk of "We Are Young" is included in last year's tracking period, not this year's, so I think that disqualifies them from being nominated for Best New Artist this year.

L-U-V MADONNA. She and Prince are the main reasons to tune in to this show.

^He's listed in the Rock Album and Rock Song categories, and I don't think he sold the most out of all the finalists.

Home has sold a lot ( not as much as the other three songs but still not ridiculous) and was used in a lot of situation, i feel like the impact it had in people was more powerful than the other songs but maybe i just want him to win. I feel like it's an "anthem" in the US

^The awards are based purely on chart performance/commercial success, though, so the overall impact outside of that doesn't matter in this case.

I think "Home" has a great shot at winning. It was a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 (and it was there for quite a few weeks), it was a huge airplay hit on CHR/Pop, AC, HAC, and AAA, and it's 4x Platinum. I think he'll manage a win.

It was eligible for this past February's Grammy Awards with the eligibility period ranging from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012. This year's will be held from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013. "Home" was released on May 23, 2012. His album, The World From the Side of the Moon, is eligible for the Grammys next year, as is "Gone, Gone, Gone".

Nama, I don't think "Home" had a better chart performance than the bigger hits in those categories- unless those other tracks had some of their run outside of the eligibility period (which may be the case- not sure off-hand). Nonetheless, some of the others were big No. 1 hits, with impressive runs- and then Mumford & Sons' album (not sure of the others) sold more than Phillips'.

I just looked at some of the other songs he was up against because I originally replied only knowing that "Ho Hey" and "Some Nights" were competing against him. I forgot that WAY and STIUTK were also there. Yeah, he should just accept his nomination and be content because there's no way he's winning.

Selena Gomez, "Come And Get It" Icona Pop, "I Love It" Bruno Mars, "Treasure" Kacey Musgraves, "Merry Go Round"
^I'm really excited to see those performed. Even if this gets crappy ratings, I'm still excited to see live performances of them on an awards show.

Kesha could really use it to try and launch crazy kids According to Bill Werde, Editorial Director of Billboard, Ke$ha was on board to perform but dropped out Bill Werde @bwerde .@richbaxter re Kesha underperforming. She/RCA just has to keep plugging. The hits are there. Was surprised she dropped from #Bbma

Band Perry performing Better Dig Two?? I don't understand, why aren't they promoting their latest single, DONE? Probably because it's the hit they're nominated for. Overall, it's a very lackluster lineup... I will still watch though, as I'll have nothing better to do Sunday night lol...

Looking forward to the show tonight! The lineup of performers look very good; as I was reading through it, I saw a lot of acts that I was hoping would be performing.
