I can't wait to hear the new songs from HH's re-release, but I'm so excited for the addition of Ashley Monroe's vocals on "What You Gonna Do."

Sara Evans has mentioned a new album again!
@saraevansmusic: "My twitter has been messed up on my phone! Hi! How is everyone? We have 6 baseball games tomorrow! Working on new album! So excited!"
Am I the only one who is officially extremely excited to see what she is planning for us? She has been recording this thing since, like, November, if I recall that being when the first tweet appeared. So I am thinking it will be nothing short of AWESOME!! I hope we get a single soon! I am ready to make this comeback official!

Trace Adkins "Love Will..." (Show Dog-Universal Records)
Album Release Date: May 14
Track List:
1. When I Stop Loving You 2. So What If I Do 3. Come See Me 4. Right Now 5. Every One Of You 6. The Altar Of Your Love 7. Kiss You All Over (Featuring Exile) 8. If The Sun Comes Up 9. Say No To A Woman 10. Watch The World End (Featuring Colbie Caillat) 11. Love Will
Source: AmazonAmazon 30 second preview clips are HERE. iTunes 1:30 preview clips are HERE. You can pre-order the album now and get the track "Watch The World End" (featuring Colbie Caillat). SDU has it up on their SoundCloud page; Listen HERE. It's interesting that they're not pushing Trace to radio anymore. I didn't listen to all the previews but it sounds like he has some radio-ready stuff on here that could maybe got at least top 30, possibly top 20, and get his new music a little bit of exposure. I think his days of top 10's are over, though, and maybe they realize it too (which might be the reason why they aren't trying at radio right now).

I'm sure he wouldn't get to the top 10, like you said, but I think the right song could at least crack the top 30. I'm not sure why they wouldn't at least send something to radio to see what happens.

He's my favorite male artist after Josh Turner and I've absolutely loved everything about his first two records. I can't wait to get my hands on new music, and I'd like nothing more than to see him finally breakthrough at radio and be able to manage more than 1 big hit from each era.

^I wonder if "Can't Buy You Money" is the same song Toby recorded on White Trash With Money.

Dierks Bentley Eyes New Album in the Fall:) Interesting that this is the last album on his contract. He has a very long history with Mike Dungan so I don't know that I see him being dropped but obviously there is quite a bit riding on this album. Also, signs are pointing to "Summer on Fire" being the first single. I'd heard it was being recut for the new album. A few weeks ago, he added it to his setlist on the Locked & Reloaded tour and the review of the show billed it as the "first single" from the new album. The article above mentions they're hoping for a single in May, and according to Country Music is Love, he performed Summer on Fire for the Tim McGraw special that is airing... in May! So that would be a good platform to help launch a lead single.

^Very interesting. I wonder what their thought process was that's led them to put "Summer On Fire" at the front of the line for his lead single?

^ My guess that he is going the " catering to the college- party crowd" route that everyone else seems to be taking these days.I don't really care for " Summer On Fire" but I'm sure it will be a smash.I sadly think this new trend is here to stay for awhile and all the artists are jumping on the bandwagon so to speak to make more hits

Not really sure, and I'm obviously speculating. But I would think they might just be looking for a sure thing... it's obviously a summer song, and one that I can see performing well because, well, it's a nice dumbed down summer party song. It's certainly a less risky choice than I Hold On which, while I love it, is pretty personal and might perform similarly to My Last Name did. I'm very curious to see if SoF does indeed lead off the album, though. We should know soon.
He was in the studio last week with Jaren Johnston, and it was previously noted that he'd worked with Charlie Worsham and Kacey Musgraves. I mean, the names that are being attached to project so far make it SOUND like it should be good, but I don't know if i see him replicating the success of his first two eras, or the quality of his first three eras plus Up on the Ridge. Hopeful, but skeptical.

I don't think "I Hold On" would be too risky. Especially now that he is a decade into his mainstream career. I'd expect it at some point. It does sound like the album will be great and maybe even back to form in a way.

Well someone in his camp said SoF is not the single so I guess we'll see....
And based on the response it's getting, I think I Hold On could be a single, I just don't think it's a good lead single.

I figured since Kelly Clarkson does have a single on Country Radio I'd post this here.
Kelly has a Christmas album coming out this holiday season. It's about half finished. Also we do know that Ronnie Dunn is singing on the album.
Then for Early 2014 release Kelly has another studio album in the works and according to Kelly herself there will be a pop and country single release for the album and they already have the first singles for both genres already picked.

^I just saw them last week. I was in Nashville for a conference and went to Opry Country Classics, at the Ryman. They sang Don't Toss Us Away (Patty Loveless) and Long Line Of Love (Michael Martin Murphy). Their daughter was with them singing backup.
