On December 10, 2013, Zac Brown Band will release The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1 on Zac's own Southern Ground Artists label via iTunes.
The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1 features the first studio recording of "Day for the Dead" the song which the band performed with Grohl on this year's CMAs and has since earned praise as a "knockout" (AJC), that "rocked" (Vulture) and that "showcases some instrumental adventurousness that flirts with the ominous" (OC Register). Other songs on the release include "The Muse," a song written by The Wood Brothers who are also signed to Southern Ground Artists, "All Alright" and "Let It Rain."
"Dave is a musical genius," said ZBB frontman Zac Brown. "It's been amazing to play with him on stage and get to spend time working with him in the studio. We are excited for fans to hear the music we've been able to create together."
The new release marks Zac Brown Band's first collection of songs recorded at the Southern Ground Studios in Nashville. In addition to the traditional Zac Brown Band lineup of Zac Brown, John Driskell Hopkins, Jimmy De Martini, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar, Clay Cook and Daniel de los Reyes, the recordings also feature guest performances by Oteill Burbridge on bass and Grohl on drums.
The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1 available exclusively on iTunes December 10, 2013.

I don't know what this means, but WalMart's product page for Blame It All On My Roots no longer shows the detailed track listing. It does still show it as being available tomorrow.

Upcoming Ronnie Milsap CD track listing according to the Boot:
Ronnie Milsap has revealed the album artwork and track listing for his upcoming album, ‘Summer Number Seventeen.’
The project is an homage to the songs that have most influenced Milsap in his career as a country artist, including ‘Georgia on My Mind’ and ‘Tears on My Pillow.’
“We are shaped by the music we hear when we’re young,” Milsap tells Country Weekly. “Everything we do as artists starts there, and then we build and explore. These are many of the songs for me. I can tell you every summer, every place I was when I heard them.”
The album releases Jan. 28 and features the title track, which is a new song from Milsap recollecting the memories of those summers.
‘Summer Number Seventeen’ is currently available for pre-order here.
Ronnie Milsap ‘Summer Number Seventeen’ Track List:
1. ‘Summer Number 17′ 2. ‘It’s All in the Game’ 3. ‘Personality’ 4. ‘Tears on My Pillow’ 5. ‘What Becomes of the Broken Hearted’ 6. ‘You Make Me Feel Brand New’ 7. ‘Mack the Knife’ 8. ‘Mustang Sally’ 9. ‘Georgia on My Mind’ 10. ‘I Can’t Help It (If I’m Still in Love With You)’ 11. ‘Make Up’ 12. ‘Lost in the Fifties Tonight’

Blame It All On My Roots can now be ordered online at walmart.com. With free shipping (I bought something else to reach the $35 required) the estimated delivery where I live is Dec. 6--11. I'd like to have it sooner, but not enough to make it worth fighting the crowds in the store.

I was lucky enough to walk in my local walmart, grab a copy of it and check out in less than 5 minutes. Listening to "Blue Eyed Soul" right now and it's different but good. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving today as well!!

Don't expect to see Blame It All On My Roots (or any other Garth music) on iTunes anytime soon. In an interview earlier this week he said "So, until they change or I change, or some other company comes and gives them some competition, then I don't think you're ever going to see us on iTunes." www.startribune.com/entertainment/music/233567411.html

Which doesn't make sense, because iTunes does sell "entire CD's". What I think you/Garth mean is that the digital album would have to be "album-only", meaning that people would have to buy the full album instead of having the option to pick individual tracks for purchase. And that (making a CD "album-only") should be up to Garth and his label's decision, so this 'excuse' doesn't really work for me. To me it just looks like Garth fighting the inevitable decline of the album and the rise of the single. I'd prefer to see high album sales again, but it doesn't seem like a realistic hope. Garth wants to sell 15 million copies of a single album like he routinely did in the 90's, and I have no doubt that he'll make a big splash with his comeback, but I think he's fooling himself if he thinks he's gonna be able to sell like that or fight the "rise of the single".

^ Maybe Garth could get away with not making his music available on Itunes in 2005, when he first came back. But in 2014 seems pretty foolish. Unfortunatley it's a losing fight trying to not sell individual singles for download. If billboard decided to make a chart change to factor in digital sales, that's all you need to know about how things are percieved as successful in 2014.

Most of the time its a 3rd party release of a bunch of artists. Ellen Degeneres just released a dance CD and iTune says you have to buy the album not the singles.

Most of them look like ballads and slow songs.

It appears that Deana Carter's new album is only available digitally. Can anyone confirm this? I want to be sure before I download it as I prefer a physical copy if it's available. Thanks in advance!

I checked Amazon and it's only available digitally. Walmart.com doesn't have it listed. Not sure if this helps or not.

I remember reading something about the album being a digital-only release. I'm almost 100% sure that there is no physical copies of it anywhere.

I'm still worried about "I Hold On" and I wonder if it stalls if they will go for something else and push the Album into next summer?

layne, I don't think they will push the release back again, but I honestly don't think we'll see Riser until March (which coincides with when his tour is rumored to start). From everything I've heard, Capitol is fully committed to I Hold On, and I think it will survive through the holidays. There are only 12 stations left to add it at this point, and its research is improving steadily as well. Anyway, Greenroom's tweet said that "big news is coming soon" and that Riser will "blow you away." I'm thinking March 4th because February has gotten pretty full, but I suppose there's still February 18th (which would put it against Eric's 2nd week).

I'm surprised Dierks and Luke Bryan never released a song together. They are really close buddies.

Sara Evan's New Album Slow Me Down details“Slow Me Down” is studded with collaborations -- some of them unexpected. Evans duets with Vince Gill on “Better Off,” with Isaac Slade of The Fray on “Can’t Stop Loving You,” and Gavin DeGraw on a cover of his “Not Over You,” which features DeGraw singing harmonies. “Just as a fan, that’s like one of my favorite songs in five years,” Evans says of “Not Over You.” “It was completely written for me, even though Gavin wrote it for himself and forgot to let me record it the first time around. I was like, ‘I’ve got to record that. It’s so me.’ ”Evans did and when she heard the version of the song with DeGraw’s vocals on it, the country singer says she broke down. “He put his voice all over the song,” she says. “He took it to, you know, 10 higher levels. (When I heard it,) by the second chorus I was bawling crying. It is so phenomenal.”
