I don't like her. Both she and her voice annoys me. I'm curious to hear how this sounds and see how it does though. Anyone who follows knows how people shit themselves over her and hype her to be the "rightful" breakout star from Victorious.

This would've done well back in 2006. Not sure about now, though. It's decent enough, but it's just missing something.

Hmm I like the song
I don't think this song will make her "Pop" but I'm sure she will soon.

This reminds me of Thalia's "I Want You". I really like the vibe and sound of this, but I don't think she has a hit on her hands (at least on Pop).

Certainly has that Thalia vibe, Borrowed the beat & (I'm not a player, I just crush alot) Could she be related to Thalia? Anyone know?
Dam true that this track is dated. Too dated for today

She calls Mariah Carey her biggest inspiration; pretty evident by listening to this song.

Decent song. I agree with the Thalia comparison. Not a huge fan of Mac Miller overall, but he's tolerable on this. She's from a Nickelodeon show, right? I think it'll hit the 30's like the most recent stuff from Big Time Rush and Miranda Cosgrove and then fade away.

This is way better than that Thalia song. You can definitely hear the Mariah influence. It sounds like it should have come out about 7 years ago though.

It kinda reminds me of a Mariah Carey song. She is tasking hard to sound like a Mimi rip-off in this song. It's a lot. That said, I do enjoy the song, even if it doesn't give her much personality. I also question how this is going to appeal to her probably young fanbase. It's not all that catchy. Hopefully she has something else ready for a second single.

Banger! This continued 2003/4 culture appropriation is strange yet satisfying at times.

This sounds like a bad Danity Kane song after listening to the full song.

Based off of the clip, this is the kind of song Mariah should actually be doing for pop.

Now on iTunes. Currently #45.
The vocals are especially reminiscent of Mariah in HQ. This girl can really sing.

Wow! The HQ REALLY sounds like a young Mariah Carey! :o This girl has the chops.
I still think this is dated and sounds like it comes straight out of 2006, but it is a grower. Could make a small dent.

You guys need to slow down with the Mariah comparisons. Ariana has a great voice though. I have yet to listen to this, but I'm interested now.
I'm surprised this is up so high on iTunes given how badly her last attempt, "Put Your Hearts Up", crashed and burned on takeoff.

Yeah her voice is a lot thinner than Mariah's. Her vocal styling is just very similar to 1997-current Mariah.

She's giving me Charmbracelet Mariah teas with the thin, whispery vocals. She's definitely trying to emulate that singing style of Mariah on this track. I like the sample. It's not very catchy though. Not memorable enough. It's a cute song though.
I hope she doesn't start overusing high falsettos and whistle notes though.
