FINALLY.
It seems rushed though. The date should've been announced awhile ago. Hoping it will get a decent amount of adds and do well on Pop!

I think this'll end up being pretty big. It's the Unwritten of 2013.

Um, did this really go for adds? I mean, it only got one adds. I'm pretty sure that has to be a mistake or something.

This is sneaking up itunes - at #25 now. I wonder if people are discovering the song after reading all the Katy Perry comparisons.

Go Sara! Katy gave her the best exposure. Maybe this controversy will work in her favor. If the callout scores for Roar are amazing, I'm pretty sure this song will have also a great response, if radio would give it a chance.

Didn't this go to Top 10 on iTunes the first week it was released? Maybe the label should be pushing it more.

I think Roar will be great exposure for sales, but I think it will ultimately hurt any shot it had on radio. They're just so similar and Roar will be such a huge hit, I don't know that there will be room for both simultaneously. Which is a shame, because this song is great.

Her latest hit was "King of Anything" waaay back in 2010 I think, it was a huge HAC hit but didn't do that well on Pop. Katy the Humanitarian gave her enough exposure to pull a moderate hit because like I said it was down on iTunes and now it's approaching top 20.

As much as I don't completely love that new Katy Perry single, I'm glad it gave this song some kinda boost.

If there is one good thing about being ripped off maybe she will get some money and exposure out of it! I wish they would have just given her a writing credit though (or did they?). That probably would have helped fund her next 3 cds from the success Roar will probably be.

I wish they would have just given her a writing credit though (or did they?). Why? Sara didn't have any hand in writing "Roar."

I wish they would have just given her a writing credit though (or did they?). Why? Sara didn't have any hand in writing "Roar." But she did write the song that is sampled/cut and pasted into Roar. I thought it was pretty standard to credit samples, but I guess not? Come to think of it, maybe people DON'T usually credit samples? I have honestly never looked at how samples are credited. Maybe they aren't credited, but you still have to pay to use it or get permission. Which, there were rumors that Sara gave Katy permission so this all may be a moot point. Perhaps they worked out a deal beforehand and Sara got a paycheck either way lol.

Like, at least have some shame lol. LOL you know the reason I actually believe it could be a coincidence is that the theme/song structure/hook of both songs are pretty cliche and common. I find both songs are kind of meh, especially Brave is too preachy for me. I firmly believe that had some newbie sang this, nobody would have given a shit.
