Roar is the best thing that happened for Sara Whoeilles in 2013 since just 4 days ago no one even knew her song existed and now she has the honor of being youtubed once by everyone who is aware of this unneeded mess.

If it weren't for the Katy Perry comparisons, I probably never would have heard this song. I like it! I actually downloaded it and play it right after Katy. Yes, I definitely see the comparisons, but they each hold their own! I hope this song becomes a hit too.

They barely sound the same. Some people's mentality here is ridiculous though I love this smiley.

I'm not trying to push any agenda, I don't care enough about either artists to do so, but to say they "barely" sound the same is a STRETCH.

It's a good song...but it doesn't quite "grab" me like "Love Song" and "King of Anything" did. I mean, it's still a song I can get into and not get sick of over time, sort of like how "Uncharted" went for me...but I don't quite love it like I did the other two.
So...I dunno.

I hear this song on Satellite radio all the time and have been for months.
But then again I could care less what songs sounds like other songs sooooo good for both ladies! Everyone's discussing both songs!

How Epic has not been pushing this at all lately blows my mind. It should've been sent to Pop a long time ago and now since this is rising, they need to act fast and benefit from it. I like Brave better than Roar but I cannot deny that I'm glad this is rising.

A lot of artists do that , they did that with king of anything . It works better for Sara

how many cases of plagiarism or very similar songs is Dr. Luke involved...? Pink's U + Ur hand Avril's girlfriend Katy's California Gurls and Roar probably a lot more I wouldn't put my hand in the fire for this guy AT ALL! U+Ur Hand is Max Martin ripping off his own song, Cali Gurls is Dr Luke ripping off his own song. So, two... with the last one being 6 years ago. I still don't think this sounds like Roar, the instrumental is similar, but otherwise they're just both generic.

Sara should be so so grateful for Katy now Or Dr Luke and his inability to have an original idea. But happy for Sara. She is an automatic album purchase for me and I'm rarely disappointed.

By the way, brave is frankly better than Roar

The entire structure of the music is the same. Roar is AMAZING song. I love it. But I wont deny the similarities. What makes the case even worse is that Katy knew this song months ago and she made โโthat very clear. The extreme of fanaticism is to see that some people think that Sara is the one who should be thankful because the song was exposed ... this is embarrassing.
I'm not a Gaga little monster trying to tarnish the image to Katy. Im not a hater. Sometimes this looks like ATRL, but I really hope that pulse is a better place, where the discussions are top notch, not just fanwar bullshit.

This is easily her most radio friendly song since Love Song. It deserves to smash.
