Is she going to release another single? I'm still hoping for "Ribs".

Saw her live this past weekend, she was phenomenal. I wasn't sure if it'd translate but she was really great. It was at a pretty large festival and by my estimation, she easily had the biggest/most enthusiastic crowd of the weekend.

So why did Tennis Court bomb so bad at Top 40? At least it's still hanging around at other formats. Kind of like Ed Sheeran's Sing, which petered out early, but unlike Tennis Court, it's now straggling off Top 40. I doubt if they'll work another, but if they did, I'd go for Lux or WTT.

Radio especially mainstream radio is a mess. Tennis Court should've got more adds. The good news is Lorde's Pure Heroine is still selling!

Same weekend as Lolla so a lot of artists will do both.

Saw her live last night, shocked at how much of a "performance" it was. Her voice is good live but very average, she really knows her strengths and weaknesses as a performer though and works around them well. The wardrobe/lights/smoke/exorcism dancing all come together to make it pretty fantastic. Impressive for an average teenage girl who got s**t lucky.

Yellow Flicker Beat is ace, how come there is no thread for it in CHR? There's currently no plans to release it there. Also, it's not available on iTunes yet. Anyone know why? I can search for it, but it comes up as not being available in the US store at this time. Here it is, BTW:

The Meltdown is kind of a mess. Too much going on for one track. Overall its a really solid album.

LOVED her performance last night. She really stole the show IMO. And she definitely has some DIVA moments in the "YFB" video.
She has my attention, I hope she does something epic with her next album.

She is one artist who I enjoy only within the context of her recorded music. I will never understand her live performance aesthetic.

i think her live aesthetic is just whether its your 'thing' or not and i respect that either way. For me the performance was dynamic, unruly, not self conscious, authentic and unique. i really loved it. She used to seem so stiff. I think she is hitting a stride of how she moves on stage. I want more.

She does what the fuck she wants, and she gets into what she sings, and to me... it's authentic and that's what makes me love her live performances!

Lorde Sends Bullied ‘X Factor’ Contestant Cupcakes + Heartfelt Letter
While we can’t imagine how difficult it was for X Factor contestant Joe Irvine to be called unoriginal and disgusting for wearing a suit and slicking his hair back, getting a box of cupcakes and a hand-written note from indie songstress Lorde might ease the blow just a little.
In case you have no idea what we’re talking about, we’ll catch you up. Natalia Kills and her husband, Willy Moon, were fired from New Zealand’s The X Factor following their totally bizarre, borderline cruel remarks directed toward contestant Joe Irvine. According to the couple, wearing a suit and having hair was invented by Moon, and the two ripped into Joe for his lack of “originality.” The show’s host, meanwhile — who was also sporting a similar look — somehow managed to avoid their criticism.
Joe took the criticism like a champ, somehow remaining calm onstage while being berated for over a minute-and-a-half for wearing what millions of men wear on a daily basis. The good news? Lorde sent Joe a box of cupcakes that spelled out “Keep Being Joe” and paired it with a super sweet, hand-written note, encouraging him to be himself.
