Just came to post. So weird. Haven't listened yet. "Partition" on repeat tbh.

Vimeo is slow and I'm impatient so if anyone wants to hear it I put it on my Delta channel. Close enough, right?
Blocked now and no official upload as of yet, just search it on YT to find something.

Not really feeling it. She really needs to switch things up. Too much of the same. The production has a little more to it than most of her other stuff, but the rest of the song is so much of the same.

Personally I'm alright with this sounding like the rest of her work because she hasn't released that many songs yet (this makes 17 I believe), and with this coming up out of the blue it seems to me like just a random release for the fans, not like a lead single for a new album (or EP, or standalone single or anything; I'm not going to try and confine her to traditional structure), but I agree that she should switch things up for her next major release whenever that happens. I'm just happy to have more music already :)

Yeah, for an seemingly random song with no purpose, it's not a big deal. Also she is the weirdest performer.

There's an extended version of Pure Heroine on iTunes: That's the 10 tracks from the original album, plus "No Better" (the new song released yesterday), the remaining four songs from The Love Club EP (the fifth being "Royals"), and "Swingin' Party" was the "Tennis Court" b-side. It appears to have a physical release on Amazon (although the tracklisting on there seems to skip "No Better"?); annoyed because I bought the original CD and would've liked the bonus tracks :(, and I wouldn't have expected Lorde to do a re-release (if this really counts as one, considering it seems to have no publicity, and not in the Beyoncé way). Oh well.

"Buzzcut Season" slays my soul. I would LOVE it to be third...no idea if a single has been chosen yet. Love her album, minus Still Sane and 'maybe' White Teeth Teens...solid effort, nevertheless.

Not sure where I've been but I just heard this... And everywhere we go I can feel the subtle taste Of the deeds outgrown and the welcome overstayed And you're no better at swimming than you were in the beginning But you come over at night and we practice all the breathing

I just got into this album over Christmas, even though I've adored 'Tennis Court' since hearing it in Hungary over the summer ('Royals' is what put me off from pursuing her any further). But, 'Buzzcut Season' and 'Ribs' are all kinds of bliss. :)

Random as hell: Many of the songs on "Pure Heroine" make me feel like they could fit perfectly in The Hunger Games movies.

It is the mini version of Adele's"21"; in fact she is mini Adele!

She may get a #1 album next week. Amazon has discounted it to $1.99 and it's #1. That combined with Grammys is gonna give her a big boost this week.

I thought only albums that sold for $3.49 or higher qualify for charting.. after the whole Born This Way/Amazon deal, Billboard changed the rules.

Listening to the album now but I cannot get past "Ribs". It's so euphoric.
