This track is so sick. It's a blatant ripoff of "SexyBack," but I couldn't dislike it if I tried.

Live on Graham Norton: He'll also be performing this on Jimmy Kimmel June 13. Never noticed how good of a live performer he is. He killed it. ...and I was wondering what the Sugababes were up to nowadays...

interesting how this is charting on Rhythmic and Urban AC but not Urban. It's one of the Top 10 gainers at Urban as is about to break the Top 40 with a 300+ bullet. It will be interesting to see if it really catches on there.

#1 in the UK for a second week, with sales of 198k! It sold 190.5k last week. That is insane! It looks like it will go on to become a million seller for sure.

Pharrell seems to be having a Timbaland circa '06 level comeback here.

I'm very impressed. On another note, I was at a charity benefit on Saturday night and for the most part they played older music from the 70s and 80s and what not to cater to the older majority crowd. They randomly played this song though and everyone, I mean everyone, went nuts.

interesting how this is charting on Rhythmic and Urban AC but not Urban. It's actually #42 at Urban radio. It was sent for adds last week.

That was a quiet add for Urban. Glad they hopped on though. STILL #1 on iTunes.

I had checked urban a few days back and didn't see it- I've added it to the info, so we now can do the daily trends for that format starting tomorrow. :)

is it possible for this to reach #1 on HOT 100 this week? It's unlikely, because "Can't Hold Us" is going to have the edge in streaming and especially airplay, but it looks like it could, at the very least, be #4 this week on the Hot 100. "Mirrors" will have a strong airplay advantage as well, though I don't think quite as much streaming as "Can't Hold Us." "Get Lucky" won't have much of an airplay advantage, but it should have a nice streaming advantage. But, not to worry, "Blurred Lines" is sky rocketing in airplay, will be #1 in sales for probably quite a while and its streaming is picking up. It's going to #1 on the Hot 100, but probably not this week. However, next week looks promising as long as everything keeps going like it is.

I so want him to be #1 this week 'cause that would make him #1 in the US & UK on the same week Robin spends his 2nd week on #1 in UK and sold even more than last week.

this def. has multi format appeal (wouldnt be surprised to see hot AC get on this). This is NOT like Thrift Shop lol. Song is positively a mega monster lol and is gonna be the song of the summer and I think possibly the biggest, if not one of the biggest songs of the year! 8^o. I predict this will be #1 for god knows how many weeks followed by Get Lucky getting stuck at #2 for possibly just as many weeks. I really wanted Get Lucky to get even one week at #1 but doubt it now :/.
This is just one of those (how can you not like it at the min.) songs. It's so different- retro/funky, yet contemporary, mature and not a silly flush-able rap or hip hop song that hits #1 then forgotten w/in months. This is def. a jam. Again, the key is multi format appeal (those are the ones that get recurrent airplay) after they peak in the months and years to come.

oh, meant to say I agree with others who say this is VERY similar to Give It Me by Madonna. Its almost an identical sample of Marvin Gays 'Got To Give It Up'. The bells, bass line etc etc...Give It To Me was an awesome song and if Robin or Pharrell sang it opposed to Madonna, song wouldve prob. been a big hit lol.

Personally, this song is a bit too comical for me, but it's catchy enough for me to like it at the same time.
