So glad to see this song blowing up, and hopefully going very far.
THIS is what S&T should have been, a throwback number that simply revels in how much fun it is, rather than concentrate on trying to come across as "different" to what the pop norm has been for a while because it's expected to and losing its effervescence.

I'm surprised to see how little pulse is paying attention to this. This is such a great and fun song. Robin is blowing up with a lot of help from Pharrell. T.I. is kind of unnecessary for this song but he doesn't take away anything from it either. I would not mind if these type of songs replaced the Redone/Dr. Luke/Calvin Harris sound that we heard fo rhe past couple of years. The sound is retro and fresh at the same time.

Well personally I really hate this song. Everyone is talking about how this is the perfect streamline of retro and and modern elements, but I'm only seeing the retro. I really want to like this song but I can't.

The "Hey Ya!" of this decade~ I can see the comparison, but "Hey Ya!" had the kind of massive, overwhelming staying power and inter-generational appeal that only a tiny handful of songs can claim. We'll have to wait a few years to see if that's the case for "Blurred Lines". If any song from this year were to become the "Hey Ya!" of this decade, I would hope it would be this and not "Get Lucky".

I have my fingers crossed that this ends up the song of the summer. I wasn't crazy about RITD or CMM when they were obliterating everything around them, so I hope this track follows a similar trajectory.

Whenever I hear DJs introducing this on the radio you can tell how much they really love it and not just in a "I'm getting paid to talk this song up" sort of way.

Sorry if this has been said, but the bass line in this sounds exactly like Madonna's Give it to me, which was also a Pharrell track. I loved it then and I love it even better on this.

Surprising that he only has ~440k followers on twitter, but good for this song!

This song is fantastic and along with Daft Punk will be the song(s) of the summer. Daft Punk will get a bunch of Hot AC play and Robin will get a lot of Rhythmic play. They are both great songs and a nice breath of fresh air to all formats. We will be very tired of these songs come September though, but for the summer, I'll take it!

The number of followers on social media sites really doesn't mean much in terms of chart performance. Just think of how many people "follow" someone and don't pay all that much attention to posts- I would be one of those. :)

He'll also be performing this on Jimmy Kimmel June 13.

Loved the performance on Norton. Think Hayden was enjoying herself too.

With that kind of lead on iTunes and surging airplay, this is surely going to be #1 next week? Well, assuming streaming doesn't fuck everything up.

This is positively 200% going #1 on pop and the Hot 100 but would also love Get Lucky (2 songs I love) to somehow get in at least one week at #1. I think w/ as fast as Blurred Lines accelerating, Daft Punks only shot may be in the next few weeks :/. If it misses, Im afraid its gonna get stuck at #2 for many, many weeks.

This song just clicked with me over the last week, and I love it now. I won't mind this becoming the big hit of the summer, which I'm pretty sure that it will be. I'm surprised all three artists on the track are having a huge hit in 2013.

I can't believe this is only #19 on Pop. I hear it on every station...every 2 minutes. It's the most overplayed song in Los Angeles.
