YOUR ONE-DAYS: Michael Buble will have both the top debut and the #1 album next week. Here are this week's key new releases:
Michael Buble (Reprise) 150-175k Fantasia (RCA) 90-95k Phoenix (Glassnote) 45-50k Rob Zombie (T-Boy/UMe) 27-32k Will.i.Am (Interscope) 20-25k Snoop Lion (RCA) 18-21k Tate Stevens (RCA Nashville) 14-16k
In an unrelated story, more Americans get their news from hacked Twitter feeds than from any other news source. (4/24p)

Lol at will.i.am. Not too good for him, he's clearly a singles artist at best.
I'm kind of surprised they released Snoop Lion's (still lol at his name change) album without a radio hit yet. Was "Ashtrays & Heartbreak" even officially released as a single?

^I'm not sure, but it has potential. I hope it does well for him. These are great numbers for Fantasia, considering her lack of radio play.

I wouldn't say Buble's numbers are bad, but he really only sells "well" during the 4th quarter

Horrible numbers for Buble, he better have some longevity.
Only 50k better than Josh Groban.

I wouldn't say Buble's numbers are bad, but he really only sells "well" during the 4th quarter That's 6 months away. Buble's not known for having 3-4 hit singles per album. His last album opened with in October 2009: 131k - only 3 days 203k - full week After 2 weeks: 334k That was 3 1/2 years ago and the market has decreased since then...

Usually coming off from a big selling album guarantees a good first week sales for the next one but not in this case apparently.
(Would look better if it somehow manages to reach 200k+)

Michael Buble does not have the 'buy the album on the first day' fan base. This will do fine in the long run

In the UK it sold almost the same than it's going to do in the States though, was getting hopes up. I'm not a fan of his, but it's always good to see someone doing well with traditional adult pop.

With the right push, he could have at least a moderate hit or two based off what I've heard from the album. "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" sounds like a summer hit.

The numbers for Buble are great. The album will probably steadily sell over the next few weeks. There is no difference from selling 1 million copies in the first week or 1 million copies over the course of 10 weeks. Actually, the difference is the latter is much better. Your album is stable and visible on the charts for weeks/months and is great for promotion. People need to understand numbers and how things works based on singles and the time the albums are released. To make a "long story short" the numbers from Buble are perfect. The label is more than satisfied and reached their expectations.
Fantasia did great as well.

Snoop's album is a reggae and dancehall influenced album. Of course it wasn't going to sell big. Sort of like Lil' Wayne's Rock/Human Being albums. The fact he will sell around 20k will no promotion or single is pretty great. He almost is tied (and could pass) will.i.am

will.i.am's numbers are tragic. 20k even though "Scream & Shout" was massive, despite the fact that he released nine singles prior to the album release, and even with the album being sold for $5.

I bought all the advance singles, I can 'complete' it for just a couple bucks. Have not got around to it yet

Lol at will.i.am. Not too good for him, he's clearly a singles artist at best. He's a one hit wonder outside the UK and that's only thanks to Britney.

Michael Buble Bound For Fourth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 News /By Keith Caulfield, Los Angeles | April 24, 2013 4:05 PM EDT
0 inShare.0 0 0 Pop singer Michael Buble is heading for his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters suggest his just-released album, "To Be Loved," is on course to sell around 165,000-185,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, April 28. The set hit retail yesterday (April 23).
The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, May 1.
Buble's last three full-length albums all hit No. 1 as well: 2011's "Christmas," 2009's "Crazy Love" and 2007's "Call Me Irresponsible." Buble is following up his smash holiday album "Christmas," which became the second-largest selling album of 2011 in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. It moved 2.45 million copies that year, second only to Adele's "21" (5.82 million in 2011).
"To Be Loved" could be the only album to sell over 100,000 this coming week. Only Fantasia's new "Side Effects of You" could approach that sum, as her album is estimated to sell around 85,000 to 90,000. "Side Effects" will likely debut at No. 2 behind Buble. Fantasia's last release, 2010's "Back to Me," also debuted and peaked at No. 2 -- her so-far highest rank on the chart.

Still better than Tate's numbers, which proves that the X-Factor really is a flop show. Thankfully Britney will stay clear of that sinking ship next year. And those are shocking numbers for Buble. Does this mean that the housewives are only out in droves for Adele now?

Lol at will.i.am. Not too good for him, he's clearly a singles artist at best. He's a one hit wonder outside the UK and that's only thanks to Britney. Hmm, not really. "This Is Love" was quite a big hit in Europe (before "Scream & Shout" was released). Not to mention his features on Usher's "OMG" & The Script's "Hall Of Fame". "#Thatpower" looks like it's going to be quite a decent sized hit for him as well. He's been featured on a few other hits in the past too ("Beep" by Pussycat Dolls & "Fergalicious" by Fergie). Although, his album is doing very poorly. But it looks to be doing much better than any of his solo projects in the past at least!

Nah, it means the housewives only want Buble as an Xmas present. xD
He really should've released it on May 6/7 for Mother's Day, now that I think about it. It'll probably get a surge that weekend anyway, though.

One will still be in the HITS updates one month from now, the other will not
