I don't care if this breaks through the Clean Channel corporate BS. I'm happy it made it to #22 on the Hot 100 without radio's support.

This is such a beautiful and haunting song, and was used excellently in the movie.
It would be cool if it became a radio hit, but at this point I don't really care. I'm so happy that Lana has found so much success overall, there's something about her music that is simply mesmerizing to me.

It's beginning to dawn on me how weird it is that Lana doesn't have a CHR hit yet, since it seems like almost everybody who listens to pop radio knows who she is, at the very least. Maybe that's just my distorted perception based on the kinds of people I hang with, but I haven't met too many people in my age group who are completely unfamiliar with her work. Makes me wonder how different things would've been if the SNL performance hadn't turned her into a national punching bag.

Billboard reported that Interscope will be (re-)releasing this during awards season (Winter) . Cedric Gervais was asked to remix both this and "Summertime Sadness".
Here's a radio rip of the Cedric Garvais remix:
I think I might like this more than the "Summertime Sadness" remix.

I was ok with the SS remix, but this song is so gorgeous as it is adding a dance beat to it feels blasphemous. Like those awful dance remixes that appeared for Someone Like You back when it was released. I hope that a miracle will happen and radio will get on board with the original and ditch the remix.

Watch her label go all Mimi a la Angels Advocate on us and release an EP of potential singles all remixed by Cedric Gervais. Anything to get Lizzy a hit is welcome!
I notice no difference between this remix and the Summertime Sadness one. It's the same beat over different lyrics, especially during the first verse. The beat after the chorus is fire though.

I love the original version of this song. I don't think every Lana song released to radio needs a dance remix. Add some instruments or speed to the song, but the remix posted above takes away from the song for me personally.
If it's a hit, great for the label...but the original is a winner. :)

I think I might like this more than the "Summertime Sadness" remix. Agreed. ...and I saw this coming from a mile away. They know none of her songs are going to be a hit without dance mixes.

While I'm happy her label will continue to invest in her, add me to this list of "ugh not Cedric again." A quick visit to Hype Machine would reveal that there are already a shit ton of electronic and dance mixes, and this official one is about halfway down the list in terms of ranking. Also, yea, the original has been selling strongly all year and deserves a shot of its own.
So who will get to perform this instead of Lana at the Oscars because come on really.

The original is stunning. The remix is atrocious.
Whatever it takes though. More people will hear the original if the remix can do well, so I'm all for it.

This is a very smart move. I actually think the song by itself is strong enough to be a hit, and it has all the makings of getting nominations and awards in the cinema awards season, which will create new buzz for the song.

I really would have preferred a different remixer, this is just too similar to his "Summertime Sadness" remix and pretty generic too.

Not a huge fan of the remix, but I would love to see this song succeed and get some awards attention!

I don't see what's so non-radio friendly about her songs? They're all catchy and her voice is pretty. Sure, they're kind of depressing..., but not all pop songs have to be cheerful.

I think it's the lyrical content in many of them that people may be put off by. That being said so much of what she does it quality. This dance mix is awful though, those fake claps are terrible.

The original is a beautiful song. This will be good for clubs although. The remix is not as great as the "Summertime Sadness" version.

Whooo!!! I'm all for repromotion! I've loved this song since first listen.
If anything, I wish they'd released a whole bunch of singles from the soundtrack and promoted it like a proper album, because it's sooooo good!

Mark my words, her whole US career is going to consist of dance-pop remixes now.
