Is her management buying these spots? She was also listed on Time's most influential list. That one, I guess you can find ways to justify that - She was on the voice. But, the best Latin singer of all time. Above, Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Selena... really Latina.com? Christina Aguilera is best Latin singer of all time? www.latina.com/entertainment/music/best-latin-singers-pop-stars-all-time?slide=0Do you agree with Latina.com?

I don't even consider her a "latina." It takes more than a last name.

Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, India, Selena, and Shakira would be a better fit for this sort of thing. Christina only did one such album with a few tracks here and there. The others I mentioned may not have the expansive vocal range Christina has, but that doesn't diminish their contributions to Latin music.

I clicked on the link and the title says "50 Best Latin Singers"? Where does it say she was No. 1? Also "Mi Reflejo" was huge in Mexico and Latin America so that helps a lot.

Mmm I think people are gonna think I'm a Xtins hater after my last few posts... But I'm trying to be objective. First, I'm not sure if she can be fully considered a 'Latin' singer. She's almost like JLo. They're maybe American Latins, but hey maybe we should also consider Mariah as Latina. She didn't record an album but did record some versions in Spanish and has some Latin blood in her If we only consider her Latin productions (Mi Reflejo and collaborations in Spanish), which is fine (I assume Nelly Furtado should also be included), then the major question is: is she really the best singer? Of what time and era???!!! She's good but How about at least dozens of great powerhouse singers: Rocรญo Durcal (!!!), Rocio Jurado, Paloma San Basilio, Isabel Pantoja, Ana Gabriel, Ana Belรฉn, or going further back in time and albeit not as powerful as least as emotional singers: Libertad Lamarque, Celia Cruz, Lola Flores. I really am a Xtina fan, but as a 100% Latino, I cannot at that 'award'

I love Christina to death but she is NOT Latin. She only did one album full of Latin music. I wouldn't mind her trying it again though as that first album was really good!

I read half of that list and How much money did her team pay? LOL Otherwise, it is just a senseless article of people that had to write something up their asses The list DID include Mariah :O and she is at #7 JLo of course, and she is at #13 I wonder why they did not include (at least in the first half) Rihanna? She is from the Caribbean, right? That makes her a Latina as well :-? Then, I thought the list included only female acts. There is no mention of top male acts in the first half (Raphael, Nino Bravo, Juan Gabriel, Placido Domingo). Horrible!
