Pretty crappy that the pre-order price was $7.99 while holiday albums where on sale, but the day it comes out, the sale is over?!

Yes, I noticed that. I think you can get it for $7.49 on Amazon Mp3 though.

#36 on iTunes Canada. Love the album, I want her to be as big in the US/Canada as she used to!

I listened to this on Spotify and immediately went over to Amazon and purchased the MP3 version. I love it! It's right up there with Kelly Clarkson and Mary J. Blige's releases this year. I hope it sells well over the course of the season!

One of the best Xmas albums from a female pop artist I've ever heard. Loving this album. Mr. Right is an All I Want For Christmas Is You copycat done right!! It's wonderful.

She performed One More Sleep on Kelly & Michael this morning. They raved about the song afterwards.
The single is up to #155 #142 #134 on iTunes.

I love the song but I didn't love her performance at the tree lighting last night. maybe it was my tv but I had a hard time hearing her.

All Music Guide actually gave this her highest rating to date. 4/5 stars.

Been listening to this non-stop all week.
Though her version of O Holy Night isn't my favorite, I love how she doesn't go for the cliche climax like every other version and instead waits until the last line and takes it up... and up... and up. Mr Right is my jam, though. Along with I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday. I also wasn't aware it was a cover, but I love her version.

Leona performed "One More Sleep" on X-factor UK on Sunday. Loved it <3 She looks so happy as well. "One More Sleep" has shot up to #3 on iTunes UK as well and could possibly challenge for #1! Amazing.

Doesn't look like Leona will make to to #1, but things look good for #3. If Leona goes top 5, she'll break the record for British female with most top 5 hits.

I'm curious too. I can't seem to find anything on first week's sales.

To be honest, I'm not surprised. It's her first release in over 4 years and her lead single is only at #25 on AC radio. As a matter of fact, this album wasn't actually supposed to be released in the US either.
Saying that, I believe she has some more US promo coming up, so hopefully that'll help. :)

I'm really surprised. I know Leona has been out of the US for awhile but I was expecting better with it being a Christmas album. And has a lovely voice to boot. :(

I don't know why anyone would expect this album to do well in the US. Like Envoirment said, it's her first release here in four years, plus she doesn't have a hit single and her last record and its singles (single?) flopped. It's no big surprise that she didn't even make the Top 50.

Debuted at #113 on the Billboard 200. I don't know why anyone would expect this album to do well in the US. Like Envoirment said, it's her first release here in four years, plus she doesn't have a hit single and her last record and its singles (single?) flopped. It's no big surprise that she didn't even make the Top 50. Agreed. Despite her UK success, she only has two hits in the US (and that was almost 6 years ago at this point).

^ Just came in here to post that.
Hopefully it'll rise a bit next week. She has a blitz of US promo coming up soon including; X-factor US final, Jay Leno, Fox & friends (or something like that) + an ESPN commercial thing that relates to the NBA or something that airs on Xmas day.

The #155 album sold ~5.3k and the #79 ~8k. So Leona would have likely sold 6.5-7k I think! Not bad at all. ^_^

I just listened to the album, and out of all of the Christmas records to be released this year, this is definitely my favorite. It's the only one I can see myself listening to year after year.

Agreed. It's my favorite Christmas album released this year, and far and away the one that sounds more classic. The retro Motown direction really worked and it's good to hear that she'll be incorporating some of that into her studio album coming out next year. The three original songs were instant highlights to me, especially the two uptempos "One More Sleep" and "Mr Right". I also liked her covers of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home"), "Winter Wonderland," "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" and "White Christmas". "Ave Maria" was a revelation to me as she sounds unrecognizable. Obviously impressive in terms of technique, but not to my liking... not a fan of that song, or opera in general. YASSS for "One More Sleep" being a hit in the UK! It needs to smash in the rest of Europe as well. I LOVE the song.
