Puff Johnson has died after a battle with cervical cancer at the age of 40. She released her debut album in 1996, which included tracks by industry legends Jermaine Dupri, Walter Afanasieff, Narada Michael Walden and Diane Warren. She also collaborated with 2Pac on his track "Me Against The World" in 1995, toured with Michael Jackson in 1997, and was featured on The First Wives Club soundtrack. Her song "Some Kind Of Miracle" was covered by Kelly Clarkson for her debut album in 2003.
