Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Faith Hill Single: "Stealing Kisses" Writers: Lori McKenna Album: Fireflies Label: Warner Bros. Nashville Video Director: Sophie Muller Year Released: September 2006 Billboard Peak: #36 Mediabase Peak: #33
Faith Hill was one of the biggest country arist male or female from the mid 90's to the mid 2000's. She was just a handful of country cross overs onto the pop spoghtlight. She has recorded six studio albums along with a Christmas album. She has released 31 singles to country radio. And if you want to count the duets with her husband Tim McGraw ("It's Your Love", "I Need You") then it's 33 singles. With others released strictly to pop or other countries radio. 20 of those went top ten, with 8 of those hitting #1. She is best known for the songs "This Kiss", "Breathe", and "The Way You Love Me". All had massive cross over success. Her last to date album Fireflies produced the comeback #1 "Mississippi Girl". This song "Stealing Kisses" was the final single and only produced a peak of #36 on Billboard. But was one of her best singles ever released in my mind. It was written soley by the underrated Lori McKenna. I remember discussion of what this song was about, and if you want to dig up the thread back in 2006, Zazie described it perfectly, the meaning of this song. Her last single to date was the #26 peaking "American Heart" from her still unreleased "Illusion" album.

"Stealing Kisses" is fantastic. I would love to hear more from Faith; her comeback has to be one of the most poorly-managed happenings in country history. I'll never comprehend some of the decisions they made.

7. THEIR TEN BIGGEST: From Pride to Price. Ray Price, that is. These are his ten biggest hits. First number is weeks at #1 or #2, followed by weeks in the top 40. 1. Crazy Arms-1956-20-45 2. City Lights-1958-13-34 3. My Shoes Keep Walking Back To You-1957-4-37 4. I Won't Mention It Again-1971-3-17 5. She's Got To Be A Saint-1972-3-14 6. The Same Old Me-1959-2-30 7. For The Good Times-1970-1-19 8. You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me-1973-1-14 9. One More Time-1960-8-27 (#2) 10. Burning Memories-1964-4-22 (#2)
This was my list of Ray Price's biggest hits from March, 2011. Billboard's (from yesterday) matches it.

Fantastic list! And you guys helped me find some songs I adore now and never would have heard if not for this list (Tebey 'Til It's Gone). With that said, this type of reading is SO much better than yesterday's negative one. I feel like there is so much negativity everywhere these days that I don't need a list of 15 songs that people hate. This post above is such great stuff and I thank you guys for putting it together.

Tebey's "Til It's Gone" is one of my favorite country singles released in the past decade. From the U.S or Canada. Everyone should hear that song. Thanks for the feedback matty :). Markus runs a great site and puts a lot of work into it.

Per People Magazine's exclusive report.Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line got married this evening at sunset at his Nashville home to his girlfriend Brittney Cole. There was no formal proposal for the couple or anything like that. They knew they loved each other and wanted to be with each other. So they kept it very low key with the engagement and wedding. Only having 40 people including Tyler Hubbard and the Florida Georgia Line band. I will say he hinted this weekend he was "lockin' it up" when someone tweeted about her and how hot she was. He has been very open with fans about her posting instagrams and tweeting to her publicly. So I'm not totally shocked he got married. I was expecting news of them eloping or possibly a proposal over FGL's few week break since ending their tour. I thought I would share these with anyone that might be interested in them. Brian's new wife Brittney posted a picture on instagram from their wedding shoot or well pictures taken at the wedding. Brian posted a picture as well on his instagram from this morning that includes their rings.

Random Video Of The Day:Artist: Lee Ann Womack Single: Finding My Way Back Home Writers: Chris Stapleton, Craig Wiseman Label: Mercury Nashville Year Released: 2006 Billboard peak: #37 Mediabase Peak: #36 Lee Ann Womack has one of the most wonderful country voices in the business. Her 2006 single "Finding My Way Back Home" was supposed to be a lead single from a new album. But the low peak put the record on hold, and when her next single got released ("Last Call") and went well enough for a album, this single got left off. Believe it or not Lee Ann only has one top ten to her credit since in the last 13 years ("I May Hate Myself In The Morning" 2005). Her last single to chart was late 2009, early 2010's single "There Is A God" (#32) which was first recorded by Trent Willmon in 2007. sabre14 you have been on point with your random video's of the day! From this little gem to Gary's Smoke Rings in the Dark and Faith's Stealing Kisses, I have enjoyed these little daily doses down memory lane. Every video and song you've posted are those I've always liked myself. Thanks and keep them coming!

Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Mark Wills Single: "She's In Love" Writers: Keith Stegall, Dan Hill Album: Wish You Were Here Label: Mercury Nashville Video Director: Charley Randazzo Year Released: June 14, 1999 Billboard Peak: #7
Mark Wills was a steady hit maker from the mid 90's till the early 2000's. His real name is Daryl Mark Williams, but soon changed it once he signed to Mercury Nashville in 1996. His debut single was the #6 peaking "Jacobs Ladder" off his self titled debut album. The follow up "High Low And In Between" only got up to #33, and his third from the album "Places I've Never Been" hit #5. He then had by far his most successful album Wish You Were Here. It produced 4 huge hits ("I Do Cherish You" #2, "Don't Laugh At Me" #2, "Wish You Were Here" #1, and "She's In Love" #7). After that record though ; he would only have two more top tens to his credit. "Back At One" (Remake of the Brian McKnight song) #2, and by far his biggest hit "19 Somethin'". The song spent 6 weeks at #1 and finished at #2 on Billboards top country singles of the decade chart. He has sent 24 singles to country radio, with 8 top tens and two #1's. He has recorded 7 studio albums along with a Greatest Hits, three collection albums and a Live At Billy Bob's Texas. His last charting single was 2007's "Days Of Thunder" #50. I always was sadend country radio didn't embrace those three singles from 2006 to 2007 ("Hank", "Take It All Out On Me", and "Days Of Thunder"). His other favorites of mine were "Don't Laugh At Me", "When You Think Of Me", and "Wish You Were Here". I was a little kid when he was in his hay day and his biggest hits fron the 90's are nostalgia for me. He was one of those artist that shaped myself as a person and helped me love country music as much as I do today :). Another song I can completley relate to by the way ;).

^Between this and Greg Bates' departure from Republic Nashville, I'm rather disappointed with the "mainstream country crowd" today. I could use a Wade Bowen song right about now.

Wow, I don't remember "She's in Love" at all. Along with "I Wanna Feel That Way Again" by Tracy Byrd, "Because You Love Me" by Jo Dee Messina, "This Woman Needs" by SHeDAISY, and "More" by Trace Adkins, it's one of the only Top 10 hits from 1998 onward that I have no recollection of whatsoever. And they're all good songs, too! (Particularly the SHeDAISY one.)

Random Video Of The Day:
Artist: Catherine Britt Single: "What I Did Last Night" Writers: Catherine Britt Album: Little Wildflower Label: RCA Records Nashville Video Director: Myles Conti Year Released: 2007 Mediabase Peak: #38 Billboard Peak: #39
Catherine Britt is an Australian country music singer/songwiter. She was born New Years Eve 1984 in Newcastle, New South Wales Australia. She released a EP and a album on ABC Country in her home country. The album was Dusty Smiles and Heatbreak Cures. It produced four singles along with a debut single off her self released EP in 1999. She moved to Nashville in 2004 and was soon discovered by the head of RCA records; and signed her to a recording contract. Her debut American single was the "The Upside Of Being Down" (#36). Her next single was a non-album song "Where We Both Say Goodbye" with Elton John (#38). She did release her album Too Far Gone, which included her debut along with three more singles that did not chart ("Poor Man's Pride", "Swingin Door", "Too Far Gone"). "What I Did Last Night" was the lead single for her album Wildflower. It only peaked at #38 on Mediabase. Soon after she lost her deal with RCA and since then has made country music strictly in Australia. She has released two more albums in her home country (Self Titled, Always Never Enough). She has been nomimated 18 times by the Country Music Awards of Australia; including three wins (Female Artist of the Year for "What I Did Last Night" in 2009, Single of the Year for "Sweet Emmylou" in 2010, and Global Artist of the Year in 2010). Her singles "The Upside Of Being Down", and "What I Did Last Night" were two of my favorites. I loved her unique voice and her songwriting skills. Another miss by country radio and fellow labels.

Billboard names their 10 Best Country Singles of 2013! Such Pulse favorites as Two Black Cadillacs, Highway Don't Care, and Slow Me Down make the tally, with Merry Go 'Round topping the list.

I'm fine with most of this list, but "Boys Round Here" should not be anywhere near the Top 10...or the Top 50, for that matter.

These kinds of lists are subjective. So if someone likes something you don't, that makes them not 'credible?'

These kinds of lists are subjective. So if someone likes something you don't, that makes them not 'credible?' My thoughts are subjective as well. I think those two songs are not worthy of being on a top 10 list for the year. I have expressed already my feelings on "Why" both songs are not substancial and are lyrically subpar. Does it make the list not credible...For my personal feelings; Yes it did to be perfectly blunt. Just cause it says the word "Billboard" doesn't mean that I automatically have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Nobody has to agree with me. I was just simply giving my own feelings on Billboards top ten. That's all. :)

Love this list. I can even live with Boys Round Here (guilty pleasure fun song) and Southern Girls (lazy lyrics but a nice groove). I could do without Goodbye Town from Lady A. TICM- I also love your list :)

I'll never comprehend some of the decisions they made. "Stealing Kisses" is an amazing song. It's one of my favourites ever released to country radio. I totally agree that her comeback has been totally botched. It's so disappointing consider how huge she could have once again been - interest was there many times, even when the material wasn't. Hopefully she'll get another chance, but she has to have the right music.
