New single from the man who provided the stunning vocals on Disclosure's "Latch" and Naughty Boy's "La La La." This is how future soul should sound; certain corporate bitches should take the hint!! Soundcloud

This has several adds this week, including KKMG/Colorado Springs and WLAN/Lancaster, and is currently listed under the Spincrease section for CHR. Split single perhaps?
Other stations include: KHOP/Modesto, WKCI/New Haven, WKGS/Rochester, WXXX/Burlington

Doubt this will be released considering this isn't even on the album. They'll stick with "I'm Not the Only One". Plus they wouldn't release this as a follow-up to the similarly titled "Stay With Me". That'd be dumb. Still pulling for "Like I Can" as next though.

certain corporate bitches should take the hint!! Kind of sad now that the album's out and this got cut in favor of more ballads, ha. (I like the album and I'm not surprised by how the label packaged it - I just think this would have provided a bit more breadth.) Gonna echo maine on the chances of this actually being pushed, but an interesting turn of events nonetheless! Perhaps a sign that continuous downtempo releases may be met with a little resistance now that "Latch" (and, to a lesser extent, "La La La") has done well.

Well, i think I'm not the only one goes for adds in a couple of weeks (at least in AAA) and it reached top 10 on UK today.
I think the album will sell for a long time and it could end having a good bunch of singles but i don't expect them to change planes. Some AC stations are playing his version of How will i know.

Either this or IKINTOO would be fine next, but I think this would be a nice change of pace for him.

I adore this song! I would die if this actually became a single.

LOL what an interesting turn of events. This is his label's punishment for not including this and "Nirvana" on the album

Potential, except perhaps for the title; it feels somewhat gimmicky to put out a followup single with a title nearly identical to its predecessor, even if it's only by coincidence.

Maybe an special edition is in the making (this week he has the album and the deluxe verion both in the top 10 of itunes)

This song is pretty good! I'm curious why it isn't on the album, but whatever, hopefully is does well.

Well, this is at 78 on the airplay chart, wich is surprising because if it's not on the album it won't be a single for sure (maybe on a reedition of the album). I expect the label to start to push I'm not the only one soon (it's charting on AAA now)

I think they have songs on the album that are better choices for singles, but I suppose this works.

I agree the song is good, but i think the chances of being a single are zero, at least not now (if it shows some popularity maybe they decide to do an extended album and include it). The song is not on itunes, so i don't think the label feel pressure to change their plans even if some stations love the song. In a week or so they will start to push of I'm not the only one, and probably the stations will switch songs.
Anyway, i don't know why he didn't put this and Nirvana on the album, they are really good songs. But he seems a quite prolific writer, so when you have a lot of songs to chose some good songs not made the cut
