For whatever reason, Let It Snow made me nostalgic for her older material, so I broke out her first four albums and I've been listening to them on and off for the last few days. I forgot how much I loved Pieces of You and 0304 back in the day. The latter, in particular, is so, so good. 'Leave the Lights On' is one of my favorite songs of hers; I can't believe it wasn't a single. I agree, "Leave The Lights On" should have been a single!

NBC'S FESTIVE "CHRISTMAS IN ROCKEFELLER CENTER" SPECIAL BRINGS HOLIDAY CHEER ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 4 (8-9 P.M. ET)
Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds, Goo Goo Dolls, Ariana Grande and Jewel Set to Perform
NEW YORK, - Nov. 19, 2013 - NBC will celebrate the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree with a live broadcast from Rockefeller Center in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 4 (8-9 p.m. ET). The star-studded holiday special is hosted by "Today" anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales, and will feature performances from Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Goo Goo Dolls, Ariana Grande and Jewel.
The 81st annual holiday extravaganza will feature a 76-foot Norway Spruce that is 47 feet in diameter and weighs approximately 12 tons. The tree is estimated to be about 75 years old. More than 45,000 energy-efficient multi-colored LED lights will be strung to decorate the tree, topped with a 9 1/2 foot wide LED-lit Swarovski crystal star.
The tradition of the Rockefeller Christmas tree dates back to the Great Depression. First erected in 1933, the inaugural tree was decked with 700 lights and placed in front of the then eight-month-old RCA Building (the current GE Building). The Christmas tree gathering was enhanced in 1936 with the opening of the Rockefeller Plaza outdoor ice-skating pond. NBC-TV televised the tree lighting for the first time in 1951 on "The Kate Smith Show" and as part of the nationwide "Howdy Doody" television show from 1953-55.
Prior to this year's primetime telecast, an additional live hour of the special (7-8 p.m. ET) will be broadcast by the following NBC stations: WNBC/New York; WCAU/Philadelphia; KSNV/Las Vegas; WBBH/Fort Myers, Fla.; KHNL/Honolulu, Hawaii; WNWO/Toledo, Ohio; WTWC/Tallahassee, Fla.; WVIR/Charlottesville, Va., WETM/Elmira, N.Y.; WGBC/Meridian, Miss.; KHBC/Hilo, Hawaii; and KOGG/Wailuku, Hawaii.

That's insane price! I don't know why cds are so cheaper in d USA than in Europe! 8$ is 5€! And the cheapest cd here is around 9.99€!

Where did the album debut on billboard top 200? I don't think it ever did. I'm not sure sales are being reported. Jewel claims Lullaby sold half a million copies already (which is more than all 4 of her last label records), but it spent little time on the regular charts because the sales have not been reported (Toys R Us, Babies R Us... ) Since Let It Snow is another independent release I wonder if the sales are being reported. Probably the ones at iTunes, Target and Walmart only.

I love that even though Jewel may not chase chart success and radio hits, she still keeps herself visible and promotes. I love that she's everywhere right now.
Btw, I am a complete Jewel stan4life even though I don't fancy her country material.
