Has anyone actually listened to Got to Be There, Ben[/b], Music & Me and Forever, Michael? Are there any good album cuts on those?[/quote] I listen to all stuff Michael was involved in the only exeption is this "Michael project" from 2010 that should've never happened tbh. One LP that is really underrated, or simply not many people even know about it is The Jacksons (1976) Don't let this title fool you... Most of it is just Michael singing... My favourites from this record are: Keep On Dancing That rhythm change is everything there. I can't help but dance. This track really deserved to on OTW album, imo. Show You the Way to Go You This track is one of Mike's favorite singles he was devastated when it barely did anything. Blues Away If I'm not mistaken It's the 1st song Michesl wrote all by himself so it's kinda a big deal to me. You can stream the entire album here: My other pre-OTW album favorites are: Maybe Tomorrow, Farewell My Summer Love, Call On Me, Be Not Always, To Make My Father Proud, Mama's Pearl and others that are Motown classics such as Ben, Got to be There, I'll be There.

One Day in Your Life is among my favorite ballads from MJ. It was a big hit in the early 80s back home and it was a #1 in my personal chart :) Also interestingly, randomly Farewell my summer love charted post-Thriller and during the Victory era back home. We just wanted more MJ it seems :) I'm not a big fan of the song. It was cute but that's it to me. State of Shock went #1 in my country though. Lots of buzz for that mega pairing. It was credited as Michael Jackson & Mick Jagger (the MJs)

It was credited as Michael Jackson & Mick Jagger (the MJs) Motown remixed and released FMSL to capitalize on the MJ's unreal success during that time. I don't recall anyone wanting that type of MJ music, but Motown wanted to make a buck. Still I enjoy hearing "archived" music and then stacking it up compared to what was actually released during a similar era - in this case 1973.

I love FMSL. It was such a nice song when I was a kid and I have great memories attached to it.

I don't really consider 'Michael.' to be a Michael Jackson album...but I aboslutely love BEST OF JOY. Then again that is one of the only songs that truly sounds like Michael. Monster was okay too.

I was so disappointed at the Michael project!! I thought we could maybe get some decent songs and or hits but nothing was really deserving of a Michael single, especially Hold... I hope Xscape brings at least a good song / hit.

Yeah, the only song I really loved off that project was "(I Like) The Way You Love Me" which was already available as a demo on that 2004 The Ultimate Collection.

Mine favorite from Michael is Much Too Soon. It's 100% cheese, but I don't care.

Really disappointed by the fact there will be only 8 songs! That is EP not an album imo!

Yes I know, but still...8 songs is just wrong! Even Sade on her 80's albums and Thriller had 9 !

I love the original production of Love never felt so good, I'm interested to see how they changed it.

I don't think the Justin Timberlake/Timbaland version is going to do anything on Pop either.

I also don't think LNFSG is just strong enough for the lead, that's why they try to push it with this lame and totally disrespectful duet. It think they should've gone with a track that has that signature sound that belongs only to Michael... like Slave To The Rhythm or Xscape. instead of paying attention to what what's hot now.
FIRST BIG MISTAKE.

But honestly, Epic hurt no one else but themselves. Who else suppossed to support this album but MJ die-hard fans? Now some of them already stopped supporting this project, and others focus on this laughable duet overlooking the solo version that imo is really good, sounds like a track taken straigh from the OTW album.
