I think the label should have had their head on straight and released Hollywood, CA

Great news. I personally would have released "That Summer Song" before "That's Cool". Not really sure why "Nothing But Cowboy Boots" was ever chosen as a single.
This is one of my favorites as well. I read on CMT.com they played this at the radio seminar - any chance there could be a 5th single if "That Summer Song" does well?

I vote for Hollywood California as well. I really like this album and wish it would have done better. Nothin' but Cowboy Boots was a terrible choice for a single. I can't believe That's Cool wasn't a smash!!! It was Number 2 for the year on my chart for the year.

Blue County was one of those acts that caught me off-guard. I thought that "Good Little Girls" was alright...nothing special, so I kinda wrote them off as a one hit wonder band. I got a promo copy of their album and was pleasantly suprised. It's not deep or earth-shattering, but it's a pleasant listen. "That Summer Song" and "That's Cool" are my two favorite tracks.
I hope this new single does well for them...and so far, it's doing fairly well on teh charts. I can definetly see these guys do some damage if they record stronger material with a little more backbone next time around

Pulled the cd out and listened to it again. It's been a while since I have heard it. That Summer Song sounds like a smash but looks to be slowly dying. This should be at least a top 20.
