All three Breakout/On The Verge songs from last week debut, so that means fresh Breakouts across the board. Selena Gomez will have one, since she was already announced as the Subway Fresh Buzz Song. I think Eminem will Breakout, too.

"Right Now" gets shown the door, but "Stay" stays, extending Rihanna's run to 208 weeks and making it an even 4 years.

With a 6 notch jump, Lorde claims biggest mover honors.

And, of course, "Blurred Lines" remains unbudgeable at #1 for a 9th week.

To nominally make a full four years, Rihanna would have to stay on for one more week, from 9/26/09 to 9/21/13. (Though 52*4=208, so I can see where that comes from.) If you count extras, she's been on AT40 for 210 weeks, as she had extras in the two shows before "Run This Town" debuted. 9/5/09 was the last countdown when there was nothing at all from her.

Not really a lot of movement, with nothing going up or down more than 6 notches (Lady Gaga only moves up 5, while Lorde moves up and Selena Gomez down 6), but at least there are three debuts. Eleven songs stay in last week's place, including one "jackpot", at #28.

Last week "Blurred Lines" was said to be the longest running #1 since Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" in 2008; this week it matches Lewis' 9 weeks on top. Going back chronologically, the next "longest running #1 since..." song to be beat is Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together", which was #1 for 12 weeks in 2005. I doubt that mark will be broken, but it's possible. (Today Robin finally slips from #1 on MB.)

LMFAO had back-to-back songs 3 weeks in a row in 2012, during the weekends of June 23, June 30 and July 7.

"Party Rock Anthem" (32-31-31) and "Sexy And I Know It" (31-32-32) are the songs concerned. Strange how it's the same positions as Pink's songs.

I liked hearing all the new debuts. Really loved hearing "The Climb" from Miley Cyrus as the Two For One song. It sounded great hearing a past Miley track. I thought that Katy would have jumped into the Top 10 this week. She will next week.

I heard that Rihanna might be releasing another new CD in November, but I'm not sure. Maybe
she needs a well-deserved rest. Anyway she'd be competing with GaGa and Katy. I'm surprised Katy
didn't move up higher this week.
They must have heard us about the spacing of the extras which was much better this week.
It must be that post Friday the 13th luck: Not only a jackpot but we also get 15 16 (17). Ryan talked
to Ariana Grande, and discussed American Idol with J-Lo. On a lot of the commercials he says "Ryan
Seacrest here". In case we don't know who he is?
Ellen K has now broadened her horizons to include Allegra. Ryan said that Berserk would become Eminem's
28th top 40 hit.
And at the top we get both clarity and blurriness.
