Number 1 on the official weekly chart in the UK after a slow climb and about 5 weeks in the top 10 . They were almost unknown in UK before this got into the UK top 100.

"Feel Again" did alright. Too bad IILM flopped. This will hopefully give them a return, its too good to ignore.

This is going to have a run very similar to Wake Me Up, I can feel it.

It won't be the first time their third single became the most succesful of the album.
The song has it all to be very big

CHR needs to get the memo this is gonna be huge already! I'm sick of waiting for them to start playing it. It won't peak on CHR till 2014 at this rate.

Aw man, I had forgotten about their terrible track record with slow-moving CHR hits. :/ Well, at least this one's setting up to follow the trend, haha. which means it could be a hit too.

It's up to #11 on iTunes though, don't know how much longer CHR can ignore it if it goes top 10 there.

I think this has a pretty good chance of making the top 50 next week. With how well this is done in iTunes, I expect it to start blowing up in the next week or so.

They were almost unknown in UK before this got into the UK top 100. That's not true at all. Apologize was absolutely huge. Much bigger than Counting Stars currently is even if it's peaked higher. It's true they haven't had a chart hit in the UK for quite a while though.

This should be Top 50 AT LEAST, ALREADY, how come that TKO crap is almost top 20 while being almost ignored by the public (#83 on iTunes).

What's the deal with this song? Where did it come from? Is it off of a rerelease?

What's the deal with this song? Where did it come from? Is it off of a rerelease? It's from their third album "Native" which was released last year. It's the third single, following the underperforming previous ones ("Feel Again" "If I Lose Myself") and gained some exposure when they appeared on The Voice performing this with one of the contestants. Somehow, it took about 2-3 months after that for this to start picking up again (especially when it seemed like it was dying down), but I'm not surprised since that's happened before with a few of OneRepublic's previous (hit) singles.

Wow, it just seems like such an obvious first single choice. Right? They nearly killed this era by choosing the ho hum Feel Again as the lead single on an album full of other potential hits. I still think Feel Again killing the era's momentum out of the gate is why If I Lose Myself wasn't able to gain any traction. If this had been the first single it would have been huge, and then IILM probably would have been a hit too. They're just really lucky this is picking up so well on its own after all this time. It's always had hit written all over it though.

Anyone on the fence about whether or not they like this song, or those who just simply like it casually but don't "love it" needs to look up some live performances of it. They are pretty much all incredible, and will make you love the song even more.
For me it was their The Voice: Australia performance from last spring:

They are pretty much all incredible, and will make you love the song even more. For me it was their The Voice: Australia performance from last spring: Ryan's energy there is awesome, but good lord his vocals were a mess in that performance. He was fine on the verses, but he sounded excruciatingly bad on the choruses. He's never been the best live singer though...
