NASHVILLE, TN. (BNA Records) - BNA Records newcomer Blaine Larsen's critically acclaimed, Off To Join The World, continues to be the best selling debut country album of the year. Blaine wrote or co-wrote six of the album's 11 tracks including the autobiographical song and next single, "The Best Man", which pays tribute to his step-father. You can find a link to this song at CMT with the link below. Blaine Larsen "Off To Join The World" (streaming link)I think this should do as well as HDYGTL. It's one of the best tracks on his debut album. :)

This is the biggest ripoff of Brad Paisleys He didn't have to be LOL, I agree! I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm just not a Blaine Larsen fan. I don't really care for his voice and I don't really like most of the songs on his album. Of course, my opinion and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee at McDonald's too.

I'll delete the other thread. I must be getting forgetful in my old age. Sorry for upseting you. ==================== Do a thousand things right, nobody remembers. Do one thing wrong, nobody forgets.

This is another wonderful song; I hope it exceeds the chart performance of HDYGTL.
This is certainly one of the best debut CDs of the past decade, alongside those from Trace Adkins & Cyndi Thomson.

Marv are you on crack! To say that Blaine Larsen's debut album is one of the best in the last decade is obsurd. I could name probably 15 debut albums off the top of my head that are better than his. I think it's a solid first album but let's not go making any crazy statments here.

I think traditionalfan is a troll, looking to spark an argument. Notice that's his first ever post here?

First of all Perp I had an account with the board for a long time but created a new one after they finished there construction on the site. I totally I agree that everyone is entitled to there own opinion and I'm cool with that. I just can't fathom with all the great albums that came out in the last decade that Marv would say Blaine's is one of the best. Here's a list of of the top debut albums that I think are better!
Brad Paisley, Joe Nichols, Daryl Worley, LeeAnn Womack, Keith Urban, Racsal Flats, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Phil Vassar, Sugarland, Gretchen Wilson, Dixie Chicks, Montgomery Gentry, Trace Adkins, Cyndi Thompson, Dierks Bentley, Bryan White, Gary Allan, LeeAnn Rimes
JMO but I bet you Blaine Larsen wont sell as many records as any of these artists!

Nice list traditional! I haven't heard Blaine's album but since it is so highly regarded by Marv I should give it a listen.
