Goldfrapp - Ooh La La entered Dance/Electronic songs at #25 this week. Anybody know why? That was song popular back in the mid-00s. It sounded very much like Rachel Stevens's song Some Girls (another dance-pop hit from the mid-00s).

Side note on the digital song chart. Who will be #1, 1D-Story of my Life or Eminem and Rihanna-The Monster?

"All Me" is the third single at urban radio (top 20 there) and also at rhythmic (nearing top 20); not sure about other formats.
Did "The Monster" have a CC airplay promo?

So, "The Monster" has 10m audience from Wednesday and Thursday, per this article: www.billboard.com/articles/news/5778116/eminem-and-one-direction-set-for-big-debuts-on-hot-100-digital-songs-chartsEminem and One Direction Set for Big Debuts on Hot 100, Digital Songs ChartsBy Keith Caulfield, Los Angeles | November 01, 2013 Eminem and One Direction are heading for big debuts on the Digital Songs chart next week. Eminem's latest single, "The Monster," featuring Rihanna, is on course for a No. 1 debut on the Digital Songs chart next week. Industry sources suggest the tune could sell upwards of 300,000 downloads in the week ending Sunday, Nov. 3. Eminem Covers Billboard -- Click Here to Buy This Issue The new Digital Songs chart -- along with the sales of Eminem and One Direction new singles -- will be revealed on Wednesday, Nov. 6. "The Monster" is the fourth track released from Eminem's upcoming "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" album, which is due out next Tuesday, Nov. 5. "The Monster" follows the set's earlier releases: "Berzerk," "Survival" and "Rap God," all of which bowed in the top 10 on the Digital Songs chart in their respective release weeks. Of the three earlier songs, "Berzerk" posted the largest debut week, as it bowed with 362,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It has sold 1.3 million to date. "The Monster" also reunites Eminem with Rihanna, who assisted him with his No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 smash, "Love the Way You Lie." That 2010 track, which was the second single from his "Recovery" album, spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100. It is his largest-selling download ever in the U.S., with 6 million sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. As for the airplay/sales/streaming hybrid Hot 100 chart, "Monster" appears headed for a top 10 debut, thanks to its sales numbers and early airplay; it's currently approaching the Radio Songs chart's top 40 with 10 million in first-week audience, according to Nielsen BDS. Meanwhile, One Direction is set for the second-largest debut on Digital Songs with its new single, "Story Of My Life." Sources suggest it might sell around 250,000 to 270,000. It's the latest single from the vocal group's new album, "Midnight Memories," which will be released on Nov. 25. One Direction last charted on the Digital Songs chart with "Best Song Ever," which was from the group's movie "This Is Us." The single debuted at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart dated Aug. 10, selling 322,000 downloads. The track will also be featured on the upcoming "Midnight Memories" album. One Direction's last album, "Take Me Home," was released in November of 2012 and was led by its first single, "Live While We're Young." That single debuted at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart, selling 341,000 in its first week. One Direction's song could also start in the Hot 100's top 10 based on sales alone. (Its airplay so far places it among the week's 250 most-played songs). Streaming for Eminem and One Direction's songs have also yet to be determined. Highlights of next week's Hot 100, along with Digital Songs, will also post next Wednesday (Nov. 6). Additional reporting by Gary Trust (@gthot20) in New York City

Additional reporting by Gary Trust (@gthot20) in New York CityThose sales seem a lot lower than I expected for both songs. I believe the reason why such low first-week sales figures are being forecast is because Billboard is not counting the sales the songs made through pre-orders. Let's take a look at "The Monster," first. The day "The Monster" was released to iTunes, Eminem's new album, "The Marshall Mathers LP2" was made available for pre-orders. It went #1 on its first day, and Arcade Fire had only a single day on top. It'll be very interesting if Billboard reveals that Eminem had more pre-orders this week than Arcade Fire had sales. Anyway, back to "The Monster." Early predictions said that the song would sell 414k copies in a week. However, with the album going up for pre-orders, a good portion of 'The Monster"'s sales would come from those pre-orders. The 300k that Billboard predict only represents the amount of sales that are coming on its own rather than through the pre-orders. So, in actuality, "The Monster" should be closer to 400k. "Story of My Life" is predicted to open with 250k. Early predictions put the song's first-week sales at around 351k. Like with Eminem, many copies of 1D's new song are being sold through pre-orders, and the 250k only represent people who bought the song on their own. Its combined sales are probably well above the 300k mark.

That's exactly why I said "early" predictions. Even the predictions he has up now seem far bigger than the ones Billboard mentioned.

These "early predictions" you speak of are from Kworb's website, which are all estimations and unofficial. That's exactly why I said "early" predictions. Even the predictions he has up now seem far bigger than the ones Billboard mentioned. But those predictions aren't official. I would believe Billboard over anything else.

Kworb's Predictions have been pretty spot on lately. Im sure the whole instant grats situation from pre orders makes predicting slightly difficult for him, as songs start drooping after only a couple of hours.
