I'm still reserving judgement on Carrie as an artist. I think Erika Joe is much more entertaining and pure country, if you will. I'd like to see the style of Carrie's future songs. But does Erika Joe sell? Has she released her single yet and do we have numbers? Exactly. LOL... "has she released her single yet?" Yes she has... it's called "I Break Things" but it's bombing so bad on radio that you probably haven't heard it. Which is a shame, because it is a very good song. Her voice sounds a little week on it. I watched some of her performances on the nashville star website, and he has great stage presense and is a pretty good performer. Hope she can maybe pick up with the next single.

Carrie will expose country to mainstream at least, even though it seems that "Inside Your Heaven" isn't picking up at radio. :(

Country radio isn't feeling the Carrie love. She's still losing spins and chart positions. Today she's at #54 on R&R. I'm surprised to see no Oklahoma stations in the list of Mediabase stations spinning the song the most... www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Details.asp?sngcde=UNDEIYH&format=C1MAt least she has her huge single sales to smile about... Over 261K in four weeks. :o Last week she moved 60,253 units. The next highest-selling country single after hers was Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband's "Dream Big". How much did it sell? 298 copies.

Mainstream was exposed about 7 years ago. Shania had a huge hit, followed by Faith Hill, Lonestar, Faith Hill, more Shania, a few more minor Faith hits. The world knows what country music sounds like! Carrie will expose country to mainstream at least, even though it seems that "Inside Your Heaven" isn't picking up at radio. :(

Her audience is building. She's at 1.4 million today and #50 on the daily R&R.

I am beginning to like this but it will be interesting to see how a full album will sound. I still haven't heard Bo's version and I live in Alabama (where he is from.)
