I know this is WAY early, but... There's a new Shedaisy album in the works. They've booked 12 days of recording in a Nashville studio this month. I have no idea when it can be expected to be released.

August 2nd October # TIM MCGRAW TBA(Curb) Is this going to be a live album, with more singles still to be released from LLYWD, as I had read was planned a few months ago? The timing seems odd if it's new material, because Fries won't have run its course in time for a new release this summer. Or is Curb wanting to give up on LLYWD? Seems to me that LLYWD has a lot more sales left in it.

Zazie I agree with you there is no way a studio album could be released in October. There is not enough time for the leadoff single to be released and move up the chart. His, "Do You Want Fries With That" will run through the summer and he doesn't have time to release the leadoff single for a October release.

DOLLY READIES NEW CD, INCLUDES KEITH URBAN Dolly chatted with the press backstage at the Saturday night CMA Music Festival and revealed that she is set to release a new album of folk classics due out in October. "I have a new CD coming out in October. It's called Those Were the Days. Actually, I'm doing a lot of songs from the past. "Crimson and Clover" and Tommy James is gonna come sing on that. KEITH URBAN is singing with me on "Twelfth of Never," and I'm very excited about that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tim does release a LIVE CD this fall, since his current CD still has SEVERAL more potential singles, even if no more than one or two more actually get released.

Hmmm... I don't like the new CD name much. There's a topic about the name change over on the official B&D messageboard. Someone there remembered that Dwight Yoakam released a CD called Hillbilly Deluxe back in '89.

Tracy Lawrence's album is a greatest hits that is totally re-recorded. He couldn't use the originals so he went in with the same musicians (where possible) and re did the songs "to a T" he said in an interview I read. I remember Shenandoah having to do the same thing, although their's were not exactly the same as the originals.

Harper Valley PTA has got to be on it! I'd also love to hear Martina cover Patty Griffin's "You Never Get What You Want".
