This week's top 3 on the Hot 100 are all very close in weekly chart points. While Justin got knocked down to #3, his metrics are growing (while CFMF's are on the downward slope)... so he could be back at #1 as soon as next week. The Hills may sneak in a week at the top next week, but I think it's just as likely that Justin will be back at #1 next week... if not, the following week.
I can see WDYM spending more than a few additional weeks on top. Potentially even dominate the majority of the remaining 9 weeks.
If WDYM's weekly Hot 100 points next week are similar to this week, it will debut in the #80-85 range of the YE 100 chart.

And any predictions for CFTS, Good For You and Worth It? If WDYM kept its current weekly points for 9 more weeks, it would barely make it into the top 20, maybe, depending on how other songs do.... so Top 30 is more realistic... and that's if it continues to do really well near the top. CFTS is gonna have to fight its way into the top 50. Not sure it'll have the legs to make it. I'd say #60-70 is more realistic. I don't see this having longevity. GFY looks like it could end up in the top #25-30 range Worth It... #35-40 maybe? These things are hard to guess because it requires guessing ALL other active songs along with them to see what lands where. So these are just quick guesstimates.

Worth It would be more in the 25-35 range. No Way CFTS is Top 50.
I think the Threshold for top 50 is somewhere between Nasty Freestyle/Stay With Me. I have a gut feeling Nasty Freestyle will actually be #50.

@broccoli How many points do you have Blank Space, Sugar, and Shut Up And Dance at? I'd like to know which one has the best shot at #5 on the final chart.

Sugar needs about 3 more weeks to top Blank Space. Shut Up And Dance has a ways to go... it's about 90k behind Blank Space... which means it needs 10k+ per week for the remainder of the year.... I'm not betting on that.... but it could be close!

Also @broccoli what are the chances of CFMF passing Watch Me? I'd say the chances are very good for CFMF to pass Watch Me. I even dare to say it's a sure thing. If they kept semi-consistent weekly points for 2 or 3 more weeks, CFMF would already be caught up according to my estimations. Watch Me clearly has incredible staying power with streaming... but CFMF is relatively new comparitively, so... odds are in favor of CFMF in my book. In other news, as of next week, I'll have Bad Blood ahead of Shake It off.

Marvin Gaye and What Do You Mean will both enter next week for sure.
Drag Me Down will probably be right on the fence.
Photograph is going top 50 next week.
Lean On is headed for YE final top 20 at this point.
Want To Want Me is a BEAST. It'll move ahead of Lips Are Movin next week.
The battle for #2 is going to end up being too close too call unless TOL falls off soon.

I'm not betting on that.... but it could be close! SUAD should be able to put up 10k+ per week. Essentially it just needs to avoid going recurrent for the next 9 weeks (actually maybe even less!) and I'd say that's quite likely, given how slow it is falling and the fact that it is still top 20 (I could be wrong though). I'm not so sure Sugar will stay on for 3 more weeks. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it is at #43 this week. Which means it could go recurrent at any time now (or for all we know it could be on for like 7-8 more weeks lol). I'm sorry I don't care what anyone says but Blank Space just doesn't feel like a year-end top 5 to me. Love Story I could understand since it was on for basically the whole year but BS I practically completely forgot about in March (I think that's when it left the top 10 on Hot 100 too). Tbh Sugar, SUAD, Cheerleader and even CFMF felt way bigger to me than BS. Just my opinion though. Anyway, all that said, go SUAD!!!

@markg94 I was about to ask broccoli how many points Shut Up and Dance got this week, but I agree it can do 10K a week assuming it doesn't crash... and what do you know... it's playing right now in my Algebra 2 class. Also, Sugar is down 5 spots from last week and is #41 this week, so at this rate, it would go recurrent in 2 weeks (10/10/15 chart) when it needs 3 more weeks on the chart to beat Blank Space.

Well Blank Space was a MONSTER hit any way you look at it... so I feel like its very worthy of a top 5 placing. We can agree to disagree on this. :)
Speaking of Taylor... Wildest Dreams is on track to enter the top 100 in about a month... maybe less if it kicks into a higher gear.

Keep in mind, too, that there's a considerable margin of error in my predictions because weekly point estimates can be rather sketchy and guessy... and over time the differences add up. So things could easily go haywire with my list compared to the official chart.

I just realized that SYA is probably only 2 or 3 weeks away from TOL. So it's looking pretty good for SYA after all.

Sugar is down 5 spots from last week and is #41 this week, so at this rate, it would go recurrent in 2 weeks (10/10/15 chart) when it needs 3 more weeks on the chart to beat Blank Space. Well that's based on broccoli's prediction. It's more than likely not EXACTLY on the dot corresponding with Billboard's calculations so if it's really close, say, between Sugar and BS, and broccoli's prediction has BS above Sugar, it is still possible that Sugar will end up higher than BS on Billboard's official list. And it looks like it will indeed be really close (unless Sugar does in fact somehow manage to hang on for the next 7-8 weeks).

Just when some of these old songs look like they are going to fall off the Hot 100, they move back up again. It makes me crazy. So I'm not counting Sugar out by any means. It could potentially end up with a very solid #5 placement over BS.

But it's basically 100%, that Outside won't end up in top 100 :(

Outside has a minor chance. On my predictions I have it slightly higher than Throw Sum Mo and I Want You To Know. For mine I think the threshold for top 100 is Homegrown. As Homegrown is right on the border. Seems like Outside is the 1st song right outside the border on mine. We will see. The songs in the Homegrown/Outside/Throw Sum Mo/Sangria/IWYTK range, at least 1 of them will probably make it, and I think it will be Homegrown, as that one on mine is leading.

Oh wait a min, I just realized I may have messed up on I Want You To Knows points. May be a little higher. I will end up fixing that one along with Dear Future Husband and One Last Time. Think I may have messed up on Lay Me Downs too. Is there a way to Bold? so I could end up bolding my new songs I finished with predictions that I ended up adding and putting in? Thanks. I am slowly catching up.

But it's basically 100%, that Outside won't end up in top 100 :( Aside from a major point conflict with the official list... Outside has absolutely zero chance of making the top 100. It'll be off my list in a few weeks.

Brocolli, read my post above, it does have a minor chance, so you should not say 0 %. For example, 0 to 100 spent 17 weeks with a peak of 35 and barely made it last year. Outside also spent 17 weeks with a peak of 29, and I believe it was in top 35 for 5 weeks and top 50 for 10.

Don't like SUAD at all... :'( :'( :'( Just when some of these old songs look like they are going to fall off the Hot 100, they move back up again. It makes me crazy. So I'm not counting Sugar out by any means. It could potentially end up with a very solid #5 placement over BS. I noticed this happens a lot too! Some examples are AATB, Just The Way You Are, Rude (at least on the Canadian chart), Need You Now, among many others (not that I dislike any of the aforementioned songs or was dying for them to gtfo the chart, although JTWYA did get old for me kinda fast for some reason). That is exactly why there is no telling for sure that Sugar will fall out within the next few weeks. It (as well as Thinking Out Loud) had a VERY slow descent down the chart. I'm personally going to go ahead and say that Sugar will pass Blank Space, and that SUAD May or may not pass them both (but will probably pass the latter).
