Alive is Sia's new song. And yes, as I mentioned there are several more I could have included as possibilities. I'm just not going to name them all. Not this week. Maybe in the coming weeks certain songs will become bigger contenders.

NOVELTY SUBJECT REGARDING YEAR-END LIST:
I know this is not supposed to be in this forum, but let's be flexible plz!! In my opinion, those are the catchiest parts (those give me eargasm!) of the year-end songs this year.
UPTOWN FUNK (Not exactly a really catchy song but some cool swagger is still pretty fancy) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
I'm too hot (hot damn) Called a police and a fireman I'm too hot (hot damn) Make a dragon wanna retire man
TRAP QUEEN (The hook is infectious and excellent) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
She my trap queen, let her hit the bando We be countin' up, watch how far them bands go We just set a goal, talkin' matchin' Lambos Got 50, 60 grand, 5 100 grams though Man, I swear I love her how she work the damn pole Hit the strip club, we be letting bands go Everybody hating, we just call them fans though In love with the money, I ain't never letting go
BLANK SPACE (It's weird how the first two lines are the catchiest to me) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
Nice to meet you, where you been? I could show you incredible things
SUGAR Eargasm/catchiest lines:
Yeah, you show me good loving Make it alright Need a little sweetness in my life
SHUT UP AND DANCE (The chorus is mediocre but the verse is fine) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
We were victims of the night, The chemical, physical, kryptonite
EARNED IT (Not so catchy in general) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
'Cause girl you're perfect You're always worth it And you deserve it The way you work it 'Cause girl you earned it Girl you earned it
LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO (Not so catchy in general) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
My head spinning around I can't see clear no more What are you waiting for?
CHEERLEADER (The verse is dope!) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
She walks like a model She grants my wishes Like a genie in a bottle
BAD BLOOD (Kendrick's part is hypnotizing!) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
I can't take it back, look where I'm at We was O.G. like DOC, remember that? My TLC was quite OD, ID my facts Now POV of you and me, similar Iraq
CAN'T FEEL MY FACE (This is conventional, the hook sounds the best) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
I can't feel my face when I'm with you But I love it, but I love it, oh I can't feel my face when I'm with you But I love it, but I love it, oh
STYLE (The epitome of sounding awesome! The whole hook is so outstanding!) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye And I got that red lip classic thing that you like And when we go crashing down, we come back every time 'Cause we never go out of style We never go out of style You got that long hair, slicked back, white t-shirt And I got that good girl faith and a tight little skirt And when we go crashing down, we come back every time 'Cause we never go out of style We never go out of style.
THE HILLS (The first 7 seconds is frigging catchy, haha!) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
(Dirty, explosive beat drops) Yeah (Dirty, explosive beat drops) Yeah (Dirty, explosive beat drops) Yeah (Dirty, explosive beat drops) Yeah
JEALOUS (Wow, this song sounds like a lot like swagger.. Feels like it's swinging itself to the chorus) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
It's not your fault that they hover I mean no disrespect It's my right to be hellish I still get jealous 'Cause you're too sexy, beautiful And everybody wants a taste That's why (that's why) I still get jealous
TALKING BODY Eargasm/catchiest lines:
Swear it won't take you long If you love me right We f**k for life
ANIMALS (A downright guilty pleasure... stupid song...) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
I can still hear you making that sound Taking me down, rolling on the ground You can pretend that it was me But no
YOU KNOW YOU LIKE IT (Listen to the sick drop and you'll know what I'm talking about!) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
(The beat drops)
679 (The catchiest and perhaps the best Fetty Wap song) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
And I got this sewed up Remy Boyz, they know us
TUESDAY (A truly excellent and unique song, though not especially catchy) Eargasm/catchiest lines:
On a Tuesday Got your girl in the cut and she choosey

11. On My Mind - Decent start at #22 on tomorrow's Hot 100, but time is not on its side... especially if sales aren't strong enough. Can't exclude it as a possibility, although as of right now I don't think it's going to make it this year. That could change next week. doubt it. Really hoping for a miracle for On My Mind to make in.. Cause if it don't, I'm scared that it's weeks could be split and thus not making in next year either.

If it becomes a solid hit, it'll most likely make the 2016 list, imo. But the split curse is entirely possible too.

Unreal how Uptown Funk is this week's Streaming Award winner on the Hot 100 and it moves back up to #14. For the love of god.

honestly the worst I see for "On My Mind" is that it doesn't peak until early in next year's chart year and gets a somewhat low position next year

What's the current predicted point gap in between Love Me Like You Do and Watch Me, and does it look like it'll be closed in these next 7 weeks? (bonus question: same between Watch Me and Take Me to Church)

As of week 45, what do you have as the difference between SYA and TOL, and the difference between TQ and SYA, and the difference between Sugar and BS please?

(bonus question: same between Watch Me and Take Me to Church) A little under 60k, so Watch Me should easily move ahead of LMLYD in the next 3-4 weeks. Bonus: An additional 20k will put Watch Me ahead of TMTC (currently an 80k difference)... so that looks likely as well.

I personally wouldn't be so sure about it, as we don't know its trajectory... it may end up a big hit like LMLYD and definitely have enough points for 2016's top 100. We simply don't know it's future compared to Blame. Blame wasn't that big of a hit. 8 weeks out of a 25 or 30 week chart run, for example, leaves plenty of points for next year if OMM takes off and performs really well.

Horrible that horror Watch Me is getting ahead of masterpiece Love Me Like You Do :( I agree. There's a list of songs on this year's top 100 that are all very similar sounding hip hop dross... but this happens every year since the early 90s, really. I'm a hip hop fan, but some of these acts/songs are TERRIBLE. In the end, however, they were very popular songs... so it is what it is.

I have an approx 240k difference between LMLYD and The Hills right now. So The Hills will have to do an average of 34k for the remaining 7 weeks to try and top LMLYD. Not likely, but not impossible. The Hills had over 43k points this week.

i'm thinking these songs are all done after this week: Crash and Burn Honey I'm Good Classic Man I Don't Like It I Love It R.I.C.O. Alright Which means Fight Song should end up ahead of Honey I'm Good. In case you cared.

Worth It could possibly fall off this week so seems it won't be getting ahead of Hey Mama or GDFR :( Hope it can still somehow manage #30. Could 679 or Photograph possibly jump it? GFY should at least

GFY should at least Worth it needs a couple more weeks. SO MUCH PRESSURE! > it seems like it probably won't. but look at what Sugar did this week. and Uptown Funk. Stream the crap out of it... GO! With their current general weekly points, Good For You will definitely surpass it within 4 weeks or so and 679 a week later. So even if it takes all 7 weeks, both will surpass Worth It. Given their peaks, it only makes sense and looks better on paper this way, anyway. :) Moral of the story... Worth It is going to have to settle for top 40. Which is still awesome.

It's looking pretty good for him, as long as he cranks out a couple more weeks of 35K+ and then stays above 25+ for the rest of the year. Totally doable. And just for fun... say Drake went to #2 next week with 35K+ and then spent 6 weeks with 40k every week for the rest of the year... he too could be in range of Worth It.

With that kind of longevity and YE chart success... it would have been a candidate for the Casey Kasem America's Top 10 show segment... "It should've been a top 10 hit"

I keep looking at my spreadsheet and playing out different scenarios. Thinking Out Loud better not fall off the Hot 100 for at least 4 more weeks or it's gonna be #3.

So hard to even guesstimate. Too. Many. Variables. Damn! I think it will get the bad end of the stick, sort of like Animals. Three weeks for Focus on the charts. My hope is it debuts at #1 and can hold it until December. Unlikely, but I think it could do it. Or debut at #1, fall and go back up, or debut at #2 and get to #1 eventually. As long as it spends two weeks at #1, stays in the top ten for 20 weeks, all getting decent points, and survives on the chart for 30 weeks, I think, generally speaking, it should be okay for top 20, but again, generally speaking. I am very excited for it to see how it goes! The chance of her having the #1 song of the year, even if only for a week, is very exciting xD
