So now that the final 2017 dated chart has passed, what songs do we know would have (not) been on the 2017 YE if it was January - December and not December - November?
For the ones that would've made it, we've got Perfect, New Rules and LOVE., and I'm sure a few others.
As for what would have missed? Water Under The Bridge, Treat You Better, probably Starving... What else?

I feel like SOY is probably gonna make it onto this YE List based on it's gaining and won't fall victim to the 52 week rule

No Limit just released a remix, does that affect its run?

No Limit just released a remix, does that affect its run? Only if it does significantly well in any metric. Right now, it doesn't seem like it's making any progress.

So, fun fact: 2017's Year-End list had a total of six songs that were #1 hits completely fronted by one solo act - in order, Shape of You, That's What I Like, HUMBLE., Bodak Yellow, Look What You Made Me Do, and Can't Stop the Feeling. Two of them debuted at #1, one of them debuted at #2 and hit #1 on its third week, and one debuted early with radio then rocketed up to #1 with its first full week.
I think that's at least worth a mention.
edit: On that note, 2015 had eight - Blank Space, The Hills, Cheerleader, Can't Feel My Face, Shake It Off, All About That Bass, What Do You Mean, and Hello. And so did 2016: Love Yourself, Sorry, Panda, Hello, Can't Stop the Feeling, Pillowtalk, The Hills, and Can't Feel My Face.

So... Is there a chance that Ed will have 2 consecutive year-end #1s as the lead artist?

So... Is there a chance that Ed will have 2 consecutive year-end #1s as the lead artist? Yep... there is a chance. Perfect isn't a huge #1 but it's peaking early in the year and will have ~40 weeks on the Hot 100 in 2018 before going recurrent. It's not the favorite, I think 2018's #1 song isn't on the charts yet, but if Love Yourself won in 2016 why Perect can't win next year?

Holy shit I know this song! It won't stand a even small chance on charting, unless Justin Bieber dances to the song at the request from a fan, or something like that. and i'd like it if rich chigga is the only popular international indonesian artist thank you very much

So... Is there a chance that Ed will have 2 consecutive year-end #1s as the lead artist? Technically 3

Kinda random thought/speculation but I'll leave this here, 1-800-273-8255 will be this year's borderline YE repeat.

Kinda random thought/speculation but I'll leave this here, 1-800-273-8255 will be this year's borderline YE repeat. It's more of a 60-80 song for me yeah, but it's freefalling on airplay, I can't see it surviving with only streams.

Currently the songs that are likely to re-enter next year are:
Obviously making it:
rockstar Havana Thunder Too Good at Goodbyes What Lovers Do Feel It Still 1-800-273-8255 (I'll go with the 60-80 area, as mentioned above) Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)
Maybe:
Sorry Not Sorry I Get The Bag Mi Gente Shape of You (With its performance right now, it may have a chance to surpass the 52/25 rule) Bank Account Attention

I'm thinking 1-800 will be like what Wildest Dreams was in 2016.
Rule of thumb: every song in the Top 10 at the start of the chart year is a lock. This hasn't always been 100% true, but it usually is barring a big collapse.

So... Is there a chance that Ed will have 2 consecutive year-end #1s as the lead artist? Technically 3 I reckon the 2018 YE #1 will be a new song from someone in the next few months that comes along and smashes it, unless 2018 turns out to have a very high turnover

Silence looks like it could make it. Pretty impressive after losing like 14 weeks in 2017.

Quick question: Does anyone think Cardi B will be the first solo artist to have three songs in the top 10?

Quick question: Does anyone think Cardi B will be the first solo artist to have three songs in the top 10? Didn't Justin Bieber have three at some point in time with "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry", and "Love Yourself"?

Quick question: Does anyone think Cardi B will be the first female solo artist to have three songs in the top 10? Is that what you mean?

The #1-#25 songs on the current predictions are most likely a lock
