He seriously needs help, or he really thinks this is the best way for publicity.

He's not wrong about Swift being fake, though. Oh you know her personally? Yeah. We dated for a bit and she promised she'd never say anything about me publicly because she doesn't like when artists sell one another out, but then she went and left hints about me in her album notes. I haven't talked to her since.

I wonder what the artists appearing on the album think of all this mess. They'll never get any money out of this Do featured acts get a cut of album sales? I assumed they just got a paycheck for it.

If they're involved in the songwriting then I think so.

Dyyying at Kanye being dragged by Pizza Hut.
In other news, I can't get over Father Pt. 1. OMG.

The Nina Simone interpolation on Famous gives me all the life I wanted from this album.

I actually focus more on the Bom Bom sample. I feel Rihanna is disruptive in Famous, for some reason, but Nina is good at the end. I mistakenly said that Father I Stretch My Hands Pt 1 is my obsession. It's Part II. My GOD. That BRAH, that BEAT, that Future clone mumbling. Gets me so hype.

Kris Jenner worries Kanye is ruining the Kardashian brand
Kanye West is so out of control, family matriarch Kris Jenner is worried that “he’s damaging the Kardashian brand” and has ordered he get some crisis p.r. to rein him in.
West’s team met with a host of top publicists within the last few months — but nobody is brave enough to work with him. A source said, “His Twitter rants are out of control, and Kris fears that he’s taking the family down. Kris wants Kanye to hire someone to handle all the noise and drama so he can focus on being an artist.” But the response from the p.r. world was deafeningly silent.
One top publicist who was approached told us, “You couldn’t pay us enough to represent Kanye. He’s too much to handle.”
Page Six obtained a leaked audio tape of Kanye’s meltdown backstage at “Saturday Night Live.” He flew into a frenzy moments before the show, hosted by Melissa McCarthy, because the lighting director ordered the crew to take up the flooring on his set.
Kanye was heard yelling, “By 50 percent Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f - - king Picasso and Escobar. By 50 percent, more influential than any other human being. Don’t f - - k with me. Don’t f - - k with me. Don’t f - - k with me.”
And it wasn’t the first time Kanye has flipped out over a floor. Sources tell us that when he previously appeared on “SNL” as the musical guest, he demanded expensive marble flooring. An insider related, “Kanye said, ‘If I’m going to sing like a stone, I need to feel the stone,’ and then got his team to bring in a huge piece of marble. It was ridiculous.”
Meanwhile, after the tape leak, Kanye and “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels spoke on the phone to clear the air. Another source close to Kanye insists, “He wasn’t overly concerned about the recording. It’s not the first time [somebody has secretly recorded him],” said the source, who added, “He’s a provocateur . . . somebody who stirs up the s - - t. He knows how to generate a lot of interest and curiosity . . . He’s an artist first and foremost . . . The whole Twitter persona is a part of his art.” Kanye’s rep didn’t comment.

TLOP didn't chart in the UK. Maybe that'll wake him up and he'll make it available for people. Or not.

The Nina Simone interpolation on Famous gives me all the life I wanted from this album. That is my absolute favorite part in the album. And I didn't even like the original song that much.

The best thing about this album is the demos that leaked bringing me back to The College Dropout days when the ADVANCE copy leaked and it had all of these different nuances to compare to when the retail version was released. For example the Lauryn Hill sample on "All Falls Down" before she put a halt to that and he had to have Syleena Johnson do the chorus instead.

Ive always wondered why Lauryn never stayed on the original. Worked out for Syleena though.

The album is growing on me. I made a playlist with 11 of the 18 songs that I will primarily use as 'the album' from here on out. It includes the "OG Mix" of "Wolves" with Frank, Vic and Sia instead of the album version. I wouldn't do this with any of Kanye's other albums but it seems appropriate given how many incarnations of it there have been already.

Today, he tweeted a bunch. He said he wants to work to reform the way The Grammys do their business. He wants artists like Future and Young Thug on stage, not only black artists that appeal to white audiences (namely himself, Jay Z). He said he respects anyone working to put a roof over his/her family and that even includes the paparazzi.
He also said he has a new album coming out this summer. While the storyline of TLOP acting as something of a mixtape and the proper-release, Grammy-ready, opus of an album coming out soon is EXTREMELY appealing, he has made similar promises many times before.
TBH, I thought most of what he said today was pretty reasonable but his flare for the dramatic makes the read extra-compelling.

I guess Kanye would do it to all of his albums if he had the chance. I remember there being several different versions of All of the Lights, Runaway or Lost in the World before the actual album came out.

I don't see why Future wouldn't be on Grammy stage without Kanye next year. Young Thug, well, the appeal must be there and couple of mixtapes charting in top 40 is not really that yet.

The tabloids are reporting the end of Kimye now. SMH. Normally, I would ignore these things but seeing how the Kardashians-Jenners feed all the tabloids directly, it wouldn't surprise me.

At that point I would genuinely pity him. I don't blame Kim for leaving, but she seems to be the only thing in his life he is sure about.

Celebs have a - what - 95% divorce rate? it's almost inevitable at some point - even if the current rumor is false.
