I decided to pit Kellie Pickler's two most recent albums against each other track-by-track. Both have been critically praised for their neo-traditional country sound. Pick your favorites in each matchup and then state your overall favorite record!

Kellie is terribly overlooked by Country radio! With the quality of music she releases, she should be selling big, topping country charts and winning awards. Those two albums are incredible.

Some of these were difficult! Buzzin is one of my favorites from the new record, but Stop Cheatin On Me is brilliant. Same for Tough versus Closer To Nowhere.
My copy of 100 Proof doesn't have Arm Candy. What's that song?
Overall, TWIA for the win!

My copy of 100 Proof doesn't have Arm Candy. What's that song? It's an iTunes bonus track.

Overall The Woman I Am. 100 Proof is great too.
With the exception of Kacey, Kellie's latest album smokes Taylor, Carrie, Miranda's, imo.

Overall I think I like more tracks on The Woman I Am, but 100 Proof does have some brilliant songs too, namely the title track, Stop Cheatin' On Me, The Letter and Where's Tammy Wynette

1. "Where's Tammy Wynette?" v. "Little Bit Gypsy" 2. "Unlock That Honky Tonk" v. "Ring for Sale" 3. "Stop Cheatin' On Me" v. "Buzzin'" 4. "Long as I Never See You Again" v. "The Woman I Am" 5. "Tough" v. "Closer to Nowhere" 6. "Turn On the Radio and Dance" v. "Selma Drye" 7. "Mother's Day" v. "I Forgive You" 8. "Rockaway (The Rockin' Chair Song)" v. "Bonnie and Clyde" 9. "Little House on the Highway" v. "Where Did Your Love Go" 10. "100 Proof" v. "No Cure for Crazy" 11. "The Letter (To Daddy)" v. "Tough All Over" 12. "Arm Candy" v. "Someone Somewhere Tonight" Overall: 100 Proof v. The Woman I Am (8-4)
Love both, but I definitely prefer TWIA a little more than 100P. That said, I like every one of these songs very much, with the exception of "Arm Candy" (which is terrible -- thank God it was just a bonus track).

These really are both incredible albums! Some of these choices were extremely difficult. I think the most difficult one for me was "Mother's Day" vs. "I Forgive You". Both absolutely phenomenal, in my opinion. Also "Long As I Never See You Again" vs. "The Woman I Am." I really enjoyed this :) .indulgecountry, you should do one of these for Sara Evans when her new album comes out! 1. "Where's Tammy Wynette?" vs. " Little Bit Gypsy" 2. "Unlock That Honky Tonk" vs. " Ring For Sale" 3. " Stop Cheatin' On Me" vs. "Buzzin'" 4. " Long As I Never See You Again" vs. "The Woman I Am" 5. " Tough" vs. "Closer To Nowhere" 6. " Turn On The Radio And Dance" vs. "Selma Drye" 7. " Mother's Day" vs. "I Forgive You" 8. " Rockaway (The Rockin' Chair Song)" vs. "Bonnie and Clyde" 9. "Little House On The Highway" vs. " Where Did Your Love Go" 10. " 100 Proof" vs. "No Cure For Crazy" 11. " The Letter (To Daddy)" vs. "Tough All Over" 12. "Arm Candy" vs. " Someone Somewhere Tonight" Overall: " 100 Proof" vs. "The Woman I Am"

Sorry for bumping this, but I don't normally venture outside the country forum so I missed it.
For me, 100 Proof was a career-type album. I love every song on there, and I still listen to it weekly at least. I gave it a victory in this format of voting 10-2. The only songs on TWIA that top the corresponding track on 100 Proof are the two singles, "Someone Somewhere Tonight" (rather easily though I wasn't a fan of that at first) and "Little Bit Gypsy" (by the narrowest of margins - And I rank that as 4th best on TWIA compared to WTW as the 7th best on 100 Proof).
There's at least 4 and perhaps up to 6 songs from 100 Proof that I consider to be better than every single track of the TWIA (those being "Long As I Never See You Again", "100 Proof", "Little House On the Highway", and "Mother's Day" - possibly "The Letter (To Daddy) and "Stop Cheatin' On Me" as well those are about even with SST/TWIA/NCFC. And I do like those last two from TWIA a lot too, but they just suffered from bad match-ups).
