I have a few connections
and have heard the album. I took a few notes if you guys are interested. I listed my thoughts on which would be singles by the single factor number 1-10, 1 being no chance, 10 being no doubt:
1. The World -8 Great uptempo about his girl being just another girl to the world but to him she is The World.
2. Alcohol- Everyone knows this one.
3. Waitin’ On A Woman-10 This is my pick for the second single. He is in a mall sitting beside an older gentleman and they are both Waitin' On A Woman. Sweet song that women will really love.
4. I’ll Take You Back -2 Probably my least favorite song on the album, talks about different things that would happen before he took his girl back such as a donkey winning the derby, and the sun rising in the West. His guitar playing is excellent on this track.
5. She’s Everything- 5 This song seems a bit repetitive. She'sa.... She's a... She's a.... Good love song.
6. You Need A Man Around Here- 9 One of my favorites on the album. Girl has nice apartment but needs a man's touch "someone to kill the spiders".
7. Out In The Parkin’ Lot (with Alan Jackson)- 7 Good song from a completly different perspective. Talks about what you see in the parking lot of a bar by never going in. "no closing time, no last call"
8. Rainin’ You - 7 Great ballad!! Brad sounds really great on this song. He hits a falsetto high note that really sounds great.
9. Flowers- 8 This is the best written song I have heard in a long time. I am not going to spoil it. It is a must hear!!
10. Love Is Never Ending-6 Great production on this song, No matter what happens love is always there.
11. The Uncloudy Day- 0 Brad always puts a gospel song on his albums and this is a great one. It sounds like it is taped on a tape recorder giving it an old time feel. It fades early into the next song.
12. When I Get Where I’m Going (Featuring Dolly Parton) 6- Dolly really sounds great and Brad seems to step it up a notch as well. Great song about getting to Heaven and seeing his grandad as well as doing different things.
13. Easy Money- 3 A fun song about Brad and his band and what they were doing before they hit the big time.
14. Time Warp- 0 Instrumental. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
15. Time Well Wasted- 6 Talks about doing things other than what you planned to do and it being time well wasted.
16. Cornography (featuring James Burton & the Kung Pao Buckaroos)- SO FREAKIN FUNNY!!!!
Be sure to keep listening after Cornography.
A+ A+ A+ A+. This album is great from start to finish!
