Someone in the Taylor Swift thread said her upcoming CD's title will be Skyline.

Here's the track list of the promotional ep: 1. 21 Summer 2. Rum 3. Stay A Little Longer 4. Let's Go There 5. Arms of Fire

I'm surprised "Let's Go There" isn't on their EP. Anyone know if a physical copy will be made available or exclusively digitally?

Whats odd is when they were around the station the rep said the album was finished and ready to go. So they are really just sitting on it until the right moment. Which to me I hate that they just sit on it and wait. ETA: It was also a year ago that I met them at the station. It seems weird its been a year pretty much.

Whats odd is when they were around the station the rep said the album was finished and ready to go. So they are really just sitting on it until the right moment. Which to me I hate that they just sit on it and wait. That's the standard way that the business operates, though. Most major labels won't release a new artist's album until a song goes at least top 20, because if it doesn't, the album isn't likely to sell all that well, and then the label won't make any money. There are a bunch of artists right now that are basically done recording their albums, but are waiting to get a hit single...Kip Moore, Easton Corbin, Chris Stapleton, Kelleigh Bannen, The Henningsens, Leah Turner, Love and Theft, Gloriana, Jana Kramer, The Cadillac Three, RaeLynn, JT Hodges, Chuck Wicks, John King, Kristian Bush...also, I think Lauren Alaina has a bunch of songs recorded too. Albums get done LONG before they are ever released to stores...sometimes it's several months, sometimes it can take a year or more of that finished product sitting around before the record label will release it. In this case, I am sure that Brothers Osborne have more than enough tracks recorded to release a full-length album, but since "Rum" isn't quite top 30 yet (let alone top 20), a digital-only EP makes a ton of sense from the label's standpoint right now. And then if "Rum" keeps climbing, they'll finally get to put that full album out there.

I'm surprised that FGL are releasing the same week as Taylor Swift. Any other week, and they would easily get a Billboard 200/Top Country Albums debut.

In Sam Hunt's live show a few weeks ago, he teased fans that his album is out the same date as Taylor Swift's. We just found out Sam's album is out 10/27, so by logic Taylor's album is also out 10/27.

I'm liking some of the song titles on FGLs new album. Sounds like there are going to be some more quality story songs on there.

What the heck, only 10 songs? This is not the '80s anymore! This is the shortest album she has ever done. That being said, this album sounds absolutely phenomenal! After those previews, I am SO excited to hear these songs in full! It sounds like an album that is full of clever lyrical hooks and infectious melodies that make up for its brevity, a la most of George Strait's work. Every song sounds 100% Terri, and I love that.

Terri's new CD sounds amazing!!!! Although I think my favourite album of hers is Life Goes On (2005), if someone doesn't own that album pick it up - it's really good!!! :)
ALSO, is the album still coming out SEPT 2 or SEPT 9?

tasteofcountry.com/brad-paisley-annoying-orange-limes/Here is a pretty good listen to Brad's new song "Limes". Have to say, from what I hear of the song, I think this can be a hit for him. It's catchy enough for today's radio, but still has a decent enough message in it. I will warn folks though, the video is a little annoying. It will be on the upcoming "Moonshine in the Trunk" album.

So excited for Some Songs! I agree with bboat11 that I wish her albums had a little more length to them, but she always delivers, so it's hardly an issue. I wanna love the Angaleena cover because the concept was clever, but I feel like it's execution could've been a bit better. As if, it looks a little boring and more like a single cover than one for an album. But I do like how they did the red-white-blue color scheme. The Blake Shelton tracklisting sounds really solid based on the titles and duet partners (Ashley Monroe?!?! I hope that one goes to radio so they'll be obligated to play something with her name on it). Hopefully he returns to form a bit with this record and starts releasing more quality material again.

Where did you hear this? I haven't been able to find any articles about it! drock89, yes, we need a source to confirm this, I have looked myself as well for this info but can't find nothing on this live album or CMT special. How's this. :) CMT will air the special concert, George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away on Friday August, 29th, 2014 at 7 P.M. ET. The two hour special will air exclusively on CMT and will feature interviews with The King Of Country Music and selections from his 60 #1 singles. In addition, Strait will release a 20 track live album at his final tour date. The Cowboy Rides Away: Live From AT&T Stadium will be released by MCA Nashville on September 16th, 2014. YAY! Source
