Is it possible "Dirt Road" and "Young Love" won't even be on the sophomore album? Because I'd be okay with that. They didn't hit the spot as much as the first album did for me. "Everything But You" "Crazy One More Time" "Drive Me Crazy" "Mary Was The Marrying Kind"
I just thought that album was a masterpiece.

Though I do suspect at least one of them will be included on the album ("Dirt Road" is an important song to Kip from what I've heard). But if I were a huge Kip fan right now, I'd just pray that they can get him a hit again, so an album can even get released. Nothing is ever guaranteed with country radio now and days it seems and it's very difficult to regain your momentum if you've lost it, which Kip obviously has now. I completely agree on his debut album. Lots of stellar tracks including "Mary Was The Marrying Kind" which was on the deluxe edition.

To be honest, I'd be totally fine with Kip releasing a radio-friendly bro-ish song simply to get his album released, as long as it was the only one he recorded ever and the rest of the album was stellar.

Kudos to @dawson for giving the heads up on this in the Carrie Underwood thread. Brad posted one of his tracks called "High Life" off Moonshine In The Trunk this afternoon. Not sure how long it will stay up though.

Oh my God Brad is so back!!! This is incredible! Brad is the perfect example of an artist who learned his lesson that he didn't need to fix what wasn't broken! I don't think he'll try his last album's sounds again! I can't wait to buy this!! This is freakin' Country music and I LOVE IT!!!

I don't think he'll try his last album's sounds again! I can't wait to buy this!!! This fits right in with songs like "I'll Take You Back", "The Cigar Song", "Famous People", and "Better Than This". Carrie helping with this song makes it even better. I too am liking what this album has to offer thus far.

I've never considered myself a huge Brad Fan or have I been highly anticipating this albums release but damn that's a funny song and I actually love the arrangement on it. This does get me excited for Moonshine In a The a Trunk. Are there any ballads slated to be on this album.

TBA (Fall 2014)Numbered DoorsLori McKenna "All acoustic featuring 10 new songs. More information soon!" ( lorimckenna.com) YES!!! I was thinking about her today! Last year she said she was planning an EP for a February release and nothing came out of it. At least we have a full record now! Better late than later haha EDIT: She said on this tweet that the release date is September, 23rd :)

Sam Hunt - X2C EP (4 songs preview of full album out on 10/27) Also from the Label's twitter: THIS JUST IN: @jennifernettles' deluxe edition of #ThatGirl will release to all streaming partners & @itunes 8/12 Which is odd, it's the same album I bought from them in January. I preordered. Did it end up getting removed after that? Because I remember it being iTunes and Target exclusive. I tend to think the Jennifer and Luke ones are just putting them back officially on iTunes and including "Target Tracks". Nothing brand new or expansive from the original release if you bought those previously from iTunes or Target before/after release dates. In Jennifer case the deluxe tracks are just: His Hands & Every Little Thing. ETA: I double checked, both deluxe versions are on itunes now, they were never removed. So I don't understand why they are saying it's a new release to itunes? itunes.apple.com/us/album/that-girl-deluxe-edition/id780735215 - Jennifer's itunes.apple.com/ca/album/crash-my-party-deluxe-version/id675834801 - Luke's

Luke Bryan's previously only available at Target "Deluxe Edition" of "Crash My Party" was released to all digital retailers today. It might could be where they pull a 6th single off of, if they go 6 deep from the album. I certainly hope they do. The Exclusivity has ended for all formats. CD is likely still only Target.

I realize this isn't straight up country due to the main artist but their whole holiday album more or less contains a good bit of country stars. Michael W. Smith & Friends (cover linked here) The Spirit of Christmas September 30th 1. The Miracle of Christmas 2. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year 3. Happy Holiday/Holiday Season 4. Christmas Time Is Here (featuring Vince Gill) 5. White Christmas (featuring Lady Antebellum) 6. Somewhere in My Memory 7. The Spirit of Christmas 8. Silent Night (featuring Little Big Town) 9. What Child Is This (featuring Martina McBride) 10. Almost There (featuring Amy Grant) 11. All Is Well (featuring Carrie Underwood) 12. Christmas Day (featuring Jennifer Nettles) 13. The Darkest Midnight (spoke word by Bono) 14. Peace (with Michael McDonald) Source includes a 1 minute behind the scenes video: www.rollingstone.com/music/news/carrie-underwood-jennifer-nettles-vince-gill-join-michael-w-smith-for-christmas-album-20140812
