If the Wiki info on the tracklisting of this album is right. Then it looks like track 12 is the same "Fish" that Craig Campbell had out. That should be intresting hearing Garth do that one. "Fish" is definitely not the same song from 2011 from Craig Campbell judging from the clip on Garth's special stream of his new album. yeah i found that out quick sorry bout that

I wished she woulda added her duet version of I Told You So with Randy Travis. I know that version wasn't the single but, still it ain't been on any album. I guess it never will. The official press release confirms "I Told You So" w/ Randy Travis. hell yeah thanks

Josh Turner previewed his upcoming sixth studio album with some industry members at Nashville's rehearsal facility SoundCheck. The uptempo "Bench Seat", penned by Craig Wiseman, was passed along to Turner by his brother, Big Loud Shirt Creative Director, Matt Turner. "It turned out great, the cut made his boss happy and his brother happy", quipped the singer. He followed with another radio-friendly tune, "Where The Girls Are", and "Wonder", a solemn ballad that ponders the current life of a former love. "These songs are very new. We don't even have video content worked up yet for one of them", said Turner. UMG labelhead Mike Dungan said, "This is a guy our format needs right now. There is so much sameness out here it is sickening". Music Row

SourceI'm definitely curious about this release. I like the band a lot--they are definitely a southern rock group and I prefer their music to that of The Cadillac Three (although, to be fair, I haven't heard nearly as much from TC3). What I'm really curious about is their label situation. They signed with Zac Brown's Southern Ground label, but with Zac's partnership with Varvatos/Republic/Big Machine, it sounded like any of the other Southern Ground artists' albums would be released via Varvatos/Republic/Big Machine/Southern Ground as well. It's definitely one of the most interesting label partnerships I've ever seen, so I'm just really curious to see what label names will be stamped onto the CD packaging.

They're NOT on Southern Ground anymore. They have their own label released in partnership with Thirty Tigers, just like Sunny Sweeney and Will Hoge and a slew of Texas-based artists. EDITED TO ADD: They've just signed with Rounder Records for their next record.

Zac Brown Band will enter the studio this week to begin recording their new album, slated for release next year
"We start arranging this week and then the next two-and-a-half months, all we're doing is recording," Brown tells Rolling Stone Country. "We've got 18 strong songs that we've whittled down and gotten ready. But you never know; one might pop up and get done right before [we start recording]." "We're all continuing to grow up and get better as musicians and the chemistry as a band continues to deepen," says the musician. "Our boundaries have dissolved and we're going to still do things that are somewhat familiar that people like, but we're also going to stretch out and take chances beyond what we've done before. Some people are going to be really surprised." Brown points to one new song titled "Beautiful Drug" as a step in this new direction. "Believe it or not, it's about a girl," says Brown. "But she's the guy's beautiful drug. I think that'll be a big crossover tune for us." "We spent a lot of time getting [the songs] all down and ready to go, so when we go into the studio to record, it's all business," Brown says. "We're not in there necessarily creating; we're in there executing what we've been working on these last few years to create." Full Story on Rolling Stone Country

According to several interviews Thomas Rhett has given for CMA Awards week, he is aiming to have a new album out around ACM time - April next year. He recorded a good bit of songs with some time off last month. So new single out after first of the year with the album in April sometime.

Not sure how he's gonna manage this with his current single not even in the Top 20 yet.

^ Yeah, I didn't get that either but maybe they'll let it go until after New Years then pull it for a new single? He made it clear he wanted the album out by then, so who knows! Just passing along what I heard though.
Eta: I always forget his current single is the fifth single from the album. I think because I didn't click with him until his first #1. So I could see them wanting to move on maybe once they feel the new album/first single is ready.

^The single is showing pretty good signs of being a big hit though, so I don't think it would be in their best interest to just pull it. They'd be better off to debut the new single at the ACM's, like Brad did last year with "River Bank", and then release the album at end of summer, maybe even late June if they want because I have a feeling his next debut single will move rather quickly.

I know that the Henningsens a couple months ago on their facebook said that Janelle had come in for a duet, so this must be it.

Another word for Mother, Mommy, Mama, Mum Because it was all in caps, I was thinking it was an acronym. Thanks for the help!

Just received an email stating that "Man Against Machine" will be available 11/11, Veteran's Day. It seems fitting, since Garth is really going for the "Hard-working Americans" theme on the new album. Listened to clips and commentary on GhostTunes last Friday, and Tacoma is probably the best ballad on there. Cold Like That is also totally out of the norm for him. It's definitely hard hitting. Well Garth's man against machine is released tomorrow, first time for Garth being digital, thru his website and ghosttunes. All the reviews for the album, Newsweek, LaTimes, Newyork times, usa today have been positive. Theres only been one bad review.
Cant wait to hear it myself, I think Garth is going to surprise people, with this album, in terms of the music on it and how well it will do.

I really enjoyed Gwen Sebastian's version, but Trisha sounds great on this. Really hoping this gets another chance at being a single, such a great song.

Thanks for posting this. Trisha sounds fantastic on this, as usual. I wish we were getting more than six new songs, but I guess it's ok if they're all this good.
